Kimpton Theta New York - Times Square by IHG

Great location for shows, well maintained, great doorman, rooftop bar was good at night. We went out for meals but there was coffee and tea in the lobby. We were 4 adults but we did see families there, room was pretty sound proof

Great location for business travelers

The staff was so helpful. I love the location and how when inside we felt secluded. The rooms were beautiful and clean.

The room and bathroom were clean and modern, and the hotel is very conveniently located. There is a lovely roof deck with restaurant and bar. But the mattress was not the most comfortable, and the bathroom light was on a motion detector that could not be disabled - meaning unwanted bright lights in the middle of the night, and a lot of wasted electricity since it didn’t turn off when you left. I also disliked that the free coffee and tea in the lobby end at 10am, although you could get a coffee machine sent to your room upon request.

Great hotel, great location, clean, great prices. Nothing could be done to make it better.

For NYC the room are a reasonable size. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good The bathrooms are dated and the shower isnt brilliant. Gym is very small

This Property is Superb. I loved my stay there. Everything was perfect from the rooftop Bar and Dining area to being a few blocks over to the heart of Times Square. I was there from Fri - Sun had a ball.

I was traveling with my son Brent who was in a wheelchair. They took great care of us form the time we got out of the cab from the airport to the time we checked out. They were always saying 'hi' and making you feel welcome every time you came or left. The room was serviced every day - they had plenty of staff. The location was wonderful. Close enough to Times Square and Broadway and yet not overrun by people and noise late at night. Across the street (less than one block) there was a small deli, small grocery, pizza shop, Korean Barbecue, Chinese / Ramen, and a small diner for american comfort food. Being on eight ave there was a wide pedestrian walkway for quick movement north and south on foot and on wheelchair. It was quick and easy to get cabs and ubers being on 8th street. It was a great base station for Central Park, NBC Studio Tour, Times Square and two Broadway shows in an all-too-short three day trip.
