In a great location. Room very pleasant.

Criticism: No coffee maker in room - they have a coffee station off the lobby only open for a few hours in the morning. There are 2 main elevators in the lobby, and on this trip one was not working.,Fortunately there are 2 elevators at both ends of each hallway on every floor. It got quite full and busy during certain parts of each day which meant a little wait, but they were working on it.

Love the hotel- but elevator upgrades have been a regular issue

Cons: Most of their doormen/valet guys were very unfriendly. They didnt even acknowledge me when I pulled up on day 1. I had to ask if they were valet for Belvedere and got a head nod. Front desk people sometimes were nice and sometimes were rude, just depends on who you get and at what time of the day. Very loud - you can hear the street noise as well as anyone in the hallways. Water temp in shower was very inconsistent. It would go from ice cold to scalding hot out of no where! All in all my stay was "ok". I probably would choose somewhere else to stay next time. However, it was decent for the price.

The staff was kind and helpful. The place was well located. The rooms were clean but could use some upgrades. But it was a pleasant stay.

Quiet in the night, helpful staff, nice room

We have stayed here multiple times. All seem to be good except the elevators. One is always out of service and the others are so small it takes forever to get a s of standing and waiting for an elevator.

I would not stay there again but the proximity to where I needed to be was good and that's why I stayed there. It's a very old hotel, very old. My room was dindgy, dark, and outdated. AC unit in the window blocked most of the light, no outlets to charge my phone except for TV plug. light on nightstand was not plugged in and could not find any plugs behind on the wall. Bathroom was tiny and the so called amenities (lotion and soap dispensers on the wall) I could have done without frankly. My room smelled so strong of bleached cleaner and deodorizer that it was most intoxicating and horrible, I had to keep my door open for a long time. My view was depressing and the cafe downstairs was not much better with the automatic "press the button" coffee machine. The staff was not necessarily rude but not exactly friendly either. They were curt, and not very patient. Anyway, won't return to The Belvedere nor NYC for that matter.

Great location with an accommodating staff.

Young lady who checked us in was a little abrupt in her communication with us. Softer words and a welcoming smile are needed by tired travelers.

Front desk staff were very kind Room wasn’t ready had to switch us to a studio Some public event going on which was extremely loud and honestly should have been disclosed when booking I chose this hotel to be in a quieter place and I feel the description online is very misleading Our tv also quit working

The property was clean. The room was good. I appreciate how they keep a 100 year old building up. The staff is professional and courteous.

The location was perfect! Close to 9 Ave (Hell's Kitchen), The Theater District and Time Square all within walking!
