Great place to stay, great location. They did a really fine job taking care of the customer.

I found everything to be great about the Belvedere: good location to restaurants, Times Square, theaters etc... staff welcoming and helpful...room was spacious, clean and kitchenette was great to have. I've been there before and will be again and again.

Great location. That was the only good thing. Staff unprofessional and borderline rude, especially the woman (desk clerk) who checked in and the valet parking attendant. They both look and act like they hate their job and the hotel guests. The TV wasn't working. The so called “continental breakfast” was a bad joke. It consisted of a nutrition bar and coffee. How cheep can you get? The room thermostat must have been set to keep the room at 78 degrees which is way to high for sleeping. Carpeting in room worn, stained and dirty. Couldn’t hear front desk on phone with volume on highest setting. In short really badly managed. What a shame for what could and should be a beautiful hotel.

I was forced to stay here because the hotel wouldn’t accept my request for a refund after one of the staff members had threatened to call the police on me. (From my previous stay) So when I check in they makw

The hotel is located in a perfect area for food, sights and shows on Broadway.

The staff were amazing. We ended up having to stay an extra night due to travel delays and they worked out letting us stay in the same rooms we were already in. Very nice staff. This was our third stay at this hotel.

All in all a comfortable place to stay with a good location. Rooms were quiet. Appreciated the water and ice fill-up on the main floor. Suggest they add a device charging cord. Every electrical outlet was unreachable behind furniture. The charging ports on the clock were ok but if the occupants have several devices to charge, it would be insufficient. My partner and I were lucky that our devices used different types of charging cord. The same would have been difficult to ensure all our devices were charged.

My room was old and it showed. I've stayed there many times and they always upgraded me. Not this time. I stayed there one night and they charged 100.00 on my card in case I used amenities, of which there are none. It took almost a week before they removed the charge from my card. This agitated me enough this time where I don't think I'll be back. There are newer, cleaner and better hotels in mid-town that are comparable in price.

Beautiful? Clean , great location. My only complaint is no coffee in the room. You have to go to the lobby.
-
Room was clean, smelled good, quiet, and cool in the hot weather. Staff and management were very courteous and responsive to requests and needs. Location was convenient to many services and a variety of great restaurants..
-
First, there were two elevators and one was broken. So we had to wait a long time to get up to our rooms. There was only one ice machine in the whole entire hotel and it was on the first floor, so every time you wanted cold water you would have to go down to the first floor and that would take forever. Then we found cockroaches in the bathroom. We would see one or two roaches in the bathroom everyday. First time I ever found cockroaches at a hotel I was staying at.
-
Like the other reviews say, the elevators (3) are super slow...when they are working and the carpet in the rooms is pretty gross. Otherwise, the location is excellent and it is one of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed in. The only thing we needed from this hotel was a quiet place to sleep and a clean bathroom to bathe in. Who goes to NYC to hang out in a hotel room? Our bathroom was spotless and we got the rest we needed to enjoy the city the next day. Broadway theaters are literally out the back door, Times Square is a block away and every kind of restaurant within walking distance.
-
Reasonably priced older hotel popular with foreign tourists for its good value and location. Close to Times Square and to the 8th Avenue subway 2 stops north of Penn Station.
-
Great location and good sized rooms
-
Convent location and clean room.
-
Hotel was conveniently located, and room was in very good condition.
-
Spacious room with refrigerator and sink. Exercise room is lacking. Good location close to times square and subway stations. Brazilian steakhouse restaurant was excellent.
