Midtown West Hotel

I arrived at the hotel after 11:40 PM due to train delay and the staff was still waiting for me! The check in time ends at 10:30 PM. I really appreciate it!

Corridors were smelling quite bad. Room was extremely outdated. Felt totally ghetto. I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel and we travel very frequently. Location was A+ right next to MSG but it’s not worth the money you pay for this hotel. Look elsewhere. You’ve been warned.

My stay at Midtown West Hotel was extremely disappointing. The room and overall hotel experience did not meet reasonable expectations, and the issues significantly affected our stay. I raised my concerns, but they were not handled satisfactorily. Given the condition of the hotel and the experience we had, I would not recommend staying here. The property needs significant improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.

There was plenty of hot water. Not enough towels.

Very convenient location. Easy to find, walkable areas, close to Penn Station. Excellent!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Always feels good to support a family business. Location for Amtrak access is unmatched. Exceptionally good value, especially for quick trips where train access makes getting in and out of the city easy. Many things could have been better, sure. But I paid well under two hundred for a hotel, last minute, next door to Penn Station. Amenities could have been nicer or newer; the bathroom was cramped. But I prefer the value over shiny counters.

The hair dryer is not functioning at all and as well as the room was very noisy throughout the night.

Great location. Keep your expectations according to your pay! No elevator.

Great value for a quick stay

I stay at a flooded hotel with broken sewage pipes, shower rod was weak and fell out as soon as I was in the shower, dirty white blankets, and lack of service from the hostest….. I demand a refund!

Location, location, 2 min walk to MSG and Penn I had to go to the desk several times due to either my key card or my lock not working

The toilet in my room didn’t work, the mattress was an air mattress, the location was confusing to get to, I was given a dirty towel, the shower is extremely small, the wifi doesn’t work, the walls are extremely thin
