Room was clean, the staff were amazing. Was not as it’s close to time square.
-
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious enough for 2. I appreciated the waters in the room especially after long days of walking around the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Right in the middle of times square. Broadway shows steps away. Spotless everywhere. Friendly staff. It was raining one evening and they had unbrellas available to borrow. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Great view. Definately put on the W Times Square on your short list when looking for a place in the middle of the action.

perfect location good service

Great gym! Great customer service! Bar was always available. Overall Great hotel.
-
Very quick check in process, they were able to take us early. You do have to pay a resort type fee, but you get 20$ credit at the bar per day which is nice. The location is great for anyone going to see Broadway shows or exploring time square and central park. Second time booking here and will likely come back.

Great location. Great view. Comfy bed. A bit outdated but overall not bad.
-
excellent hotel right next to Times Square

The resort fee is unnecessary.

Was spacious and quite comfortable but very cold even with the air con off . The hotel deal was a $20 per day per room designated bar allowance . Unfortunately the bar charges $6 for a tiny mixer bottle of water so $20 didn’t cover even a litre bottle of water. We tried to go to the Guggenheim museum which was supposed to be free entry for guests. Unfortunately the hotel didn’t explain the entry rules or give us a QR code so the museum didn’t allow us in - wasted journey on our tight schedule. The check in process was inadequate and the ‘guest deals’ were not explained clearly ; the staff were not particularly helpful or friendly and each staff gave us a different version of what was included and what was not. The hotel made multiple attempts to charge my debit card over a period of 12 hours attempts of almost $1000 were made even though the manager had promised this would not happen again . Security also felt like an issue and we did have an incident which took quite some time and effort to give us assurance that the hotel was safe - but sadly the feeling of being safe in the hotel was not there for us . The room booked was ‘city view’ but our room looked into guests bedrooms staying at the neighbouring Marriot hotel . We did not get the City view that we had booked and paid for . This was really disappointing. On Expedia all rooms are described as City view- we requested but denied this roo

Love the air conditioning and clean room

Staff was incredibly nice and Direct Access to Times Square if you want to be in the mix of it all! Bellman went above and beyond, probably the highlight of my hotel experience! Top notch! The entry at the street level is a lot outdated, the water installation, which must be for someone the second door, smells musty/moldy and it looks stagnate with moldy areas when you look up. Room was a bit dusty and A/C was working well enough, but didn’t work very well. It did help when we had shut the windows all day tho. I didn’t give staff an opportunity to make it right, only told them it ran warm during checkout.

I wished the concierge would have told us that most part of the Guggenheim museum was closed when I asked for tickets
-
Unfortunately there was no coffee maker in the room.

After speaking with the staff about the multiple issues, we were told there was nothing they could do other than offer us an upgrade for an additional charge. I decided to pay for the upgrade, hoping the larger and supposedly better room would improve our experience. Unfortunately, the upgraded room had many of the same issues, along with several additional problems. At that point, I decided not to complain again since the only solution we had been offered the first time was to pay more money. My family and I visit Times Square about once a month and typically stay for 3–5 days, so we have stayed at many different hotels in the Times Square area. I have plenty of experience to compare this hotel with others in the same area and price range, and unfortunately, this was by far one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had. This is actually my first review on Expedia, and unfortunately, this hotel absolutely earned it. Save your money. There are much better hotels in the same area, at a similar price, that are far more deserving of your business
