The Meyerbeer Hostel is located only 164 feet from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais. The main square as well as the main train station are reachable with a 10-minute walk. All our rooms have a private bathroom, their own fridge and individual safe or security locker to ensure that your valuable belongings are safe. Rooms include free towels and bed linen. Air conditioning is available throughout the property. Our features include free beach mats and beach towels, free luggage storage, maps and tourist information. English Sky cable TV in the common area and free WiFi is available on the property. There is 24-hour CCTV recording for your safety. There was a smell coming from somewhere, but I couldn't place it, may have been the plumbing. The bed was firm and small so that two people will have difficulty sleeping together.

Great location. Great price. The apartment is really close to the beach and it is very well equipped. There is also a Carrefour next door. The owner was very nice and helpful!!!

We checked into Apartment number 1. The only positive thing to mention was, that the staff responded always very fast in the whats app and promised they would adress the issues. Years ago, I had a positive experience at the Meyerbeer Hostel, but sadly, those days are long gone. The standards have noticeably declined, and it's clear that the staff no longer prioritizes quality or attention to detail. On our first day, I reported that the shower drain was malfunctioning, causing constant flooding. When it finally drained, it left a slippery mess due to soap residue—this was genuinely hazardous! The drain cover was broken, exposing an overused filter, which suggests this is a long-standing issue. The staff was aware of the problem, confirming it’s not new. Staff claimed, they fixed it on the first day after I reported it, sadly the problem wasn’t resolved in any kind of way. Unfortunately, this was just one of many issues. There was mold in the A/C, a filthy kitchen extractor fan, parts of the couch were broken and detaching, a loose door handle that just needed a screw tightened, stained bedcovers, and even hair in the deep freezer. While I reported most of these concerns and was assured they would be addressed, it's disappointing to see so many problems in what was once a great hostel. We won't be returning, and I hope for the sake of future guests, they take these issues seriously.

Very close to the beach, shopping, restaurants. Perfect locale.excellent communication with the staff to enter and securely leave the building. It was on an upper floor of a youth hostel. The lower two floors were designated hostel but not described as so when I booked the place. I’m uncertain about price comparison to nearby nicer hotels.

Location amazing. Very nice neighborhood,Couldn't be better. Comfortable space, bed comfortable shower was powerful. The receptionist in the hostel allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours while we walked around Nice centre which was very handy. Nothing. All good

Nice people and service. 1st floor guests party at night. And the room door is really hard to open.

The hostel staff was amazing. We got exact information about getting there through 3 different channels a day before arrival. Stefano was very receptive and answered our questions, recommended places to eat, etc. After the check out we could leave the luggage with the hostel and take a shower after swimming in the sea. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It is very close to the beach too. I booked a double room for myself and my 12 y.o. child and sleeping together in one bed wasn't super comfortable. I would prefer to have two separate beds or have an information/ choice around it. The people staying at the 1st and 2nd floor could not use the lift. It didn't bother us, as we stayed on the 4th floor, but I can imagine this being a challenge if you have a lot of luggage or have difficulty with going up/down the stairs.
