Room was a nice size. Decent location. Very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is expensive and not at all worth it. The room was on the larger side but very average. My main issue is that I could not get the air con to work. Asked reception and he also could not get it to work. I complained as the room was too hot and we had a young baby with us. All they said was "technician could be available tomorrow" which is no good on a one night stay. In the morning, the person on the front desk was trying to educate me how to use the system which is entirely unhelpful the day after when only staying for one night. I emailed to complain because for €380 a night, I would expect a cool room during a hot summer in Nice. That is a reasonable assumption - I would expect that in a €100/night room. Their response was again unhelpful and just stated that the aircon was working. I stayed in the room so I can say with confidence that it was not. Or at least, whatever settings were applied were not providing cool air to the set temperature, and their own staff could not make it work. So if you want awful service and unaccomodating staff, pick this hotel. If you do not, pick one of the many other hotels in Nice.

Location was great! Maybe a little dated
-
Good location and clean The were minimal facilities available versus what is claimed. The ocean view was partial and room was ok except for a dirty carpet and poor soundproofing. We could hear the next door rooms music and above us. Bathroom had mod between tiles.

Location and staff are fantastic. Except minor AC problems, everything is great. Outside is noisy however it is normal due to great location. Noise outside which is inevitable

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room
-
Good location. Overpriced. Good location, but that's about it. It feels like the staff just want you to leave so they can free up the room for another customer.
-
It was all brand new but they kept the old structure. The personal was kind and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable Lobby had a strong smell of construction still but nothing that was a major turn down

Staff were friendly Location excellent near the beach No early check in

location, location, location! breakfast menu elevator was too small

But you can’t open the windows at night. There are several air conditioning units right next to the window. Air conditioning units aren’t quiet.

Beautifully designed rooms in the perfect location between old nice and new city. Booked room with courtyard view and there was no actual courtyard. TV had someone else's name on it so I'm thinking my room was swapped but that was the only difference

Hotel is in the perfect location a block off the promenade and around the corner from restaurant row. Also, only 2 blocks from old town. Room was plenty large, bed was comfortable, A/C worked great and clean bathroom. Also really enjoyed interacting with Soraia at the front desk. She was very nice and really helpful in finding some good places for dinner. Not much we didn't like. The bathroom could have had more places to put our toiletries (stand-alone sink), and the TV had 1 English-speaking channel, but neither of these was important to us.

Central location. Clean facilities. Free early check in Requested double bed came together to form one single bed vs two single beds.

Very close to the beach, right in the middle of everything

Everything was wonderful- the accommodations, the staff, the location! Very nicely updated. Close to the beach. We gad a sea view from our balcony. We give Ambassador an A+ It was all good!

Fantastic locations and very friendly staff They did some painting on our floor and we had a lot of lingering paint smell, especially when we just arrived. It did not affect our night but was somewhat unpleasant initially.

It is nicely renovated and in an ideal location next to the sea, the park, upscale shopping and just a short walk to the old city. There was coffee in the room and I liked that the toilet and shower rooms were separate. Room was a bit small, but that is typical for France.

Very friendly staff at reception, had nice chats and we got tips on what to do. We arrived early, however our room was ready and we were able to check in early. Our request for twin beds was honoured, same as a quiet room. Our view was out the back - not the prettiest, but no noise from the street. Window could be opened, curtains darkened the room. Room itself is not very big, we put our suitcases under the bed to save space. Bathroom is huge. The renovation is nicely done and the hotel has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Did not realise at time of booking that there are many restaurants just around the corner - and in general most attractions are within walking distance. Coffee & tea making facility in the room - bring your own though as it was not filled up during our stay. We did not book breakfast in the hotel as there are enough cafe's in the area. Tip - Caffe Vergnano 1882 in the rue Halevy - great Italian cappuccino and fresh croissants. Would definitely come and stay again - hopefully next year same time :-) There were not enough options to hang towels in the bathroom. Some additional hooks or a towel rail would be good.
