Hotel De Suède is located in the pedestrian area of Nice, only 2 minutes' walk from the Promenade des Anglais and the beach. Nice's Old Town and Place Massena are 5 minutes' walk away. The hotel offers air-conditioned accommodations and free WiFi. All of the rooms in the Hotel de Suède are equipped with a safety deposit box and a flat-screen TV with cable and satellite channels. There is a bathroom with a bath or shower and hairdryer. Breakfast is served daily in the Hotel de Suède’s bright breakfast room. To access to ou hotel you can take the tramway 2, which have a stop in each terminal of the airport (Terminale 1 and 2), in case you opt for this option you will have to stop at Jean Medecin stop, the tram ride lasts 30 minutes, our Hôtel is located at 10 minutes by walk from this stop, you can buy directly tickets at the automatic machines present at the airport on the plateforme of the tramway.

The manager, Alec is so wonderful to everyone. He goes out of his way to help with luggage, get water and even plays music that makes you feel like you never left home! His personality makes anyone open up to him. He gets 5 stars. The shower didn’t have a mat for the tub and it was very slippery. I heard other people up set about how unsafe it is.

Do not accept room #318. The room was very poorly lit with incandescent tube light fixtures. Half the lights were burn on the bed head rest. The room’s only window was looking at a very small interior yard with no direct natural light. There was no wall electrical outlets for our electronics. We had to unhook the desk lamp to have one electrical outlet. The shower did not have hot water, warm at best. The walls were bare, no artwork on the walls which made the room feel cold and impersonal. We could hear the neighbour’s conversations clearly. The right side of the bed was tilted and gave the feeling of rolling off. The room’s only phone did not work, we had to call reception via our personal mobile phone. We made our discontent known to the manager on all days including when checking out. We were promised a call with some sort of compensation. Never happened. Customer service matched the in-room experience.

The location was great. My first room had a very strong odor, but the staff was very accommodating and moved me, but the room that I was moved to wasn't sound proof and you could hear everything from outside all night so I didn't get any sleep at all.

Perfect location, friendly staff and clean rooms! Even the room was small, but the arranged a baby crib, which was a big plus for us. The breakfast was good and with a variety to choose.

The property was in a fantastic location, right in the center of everything. Ideal for a city break There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like. The only this was the bed mattress was to hard.

Breakfast provided a good range of options. The catering staff were friendly and helpful. The fact that I had only booked 8 days! I now wish that I had booked a longer stay.

The location was good. Super close to the main promenade, the beach, and a bunch of restaurants/bars. The main train station was about a 15 minute walk away, but it was a relatively easy walk. The front desk staff during the day were nice and tried to be helpful. We had issues with our bathtub/shower draining extremely slow (to the point we would be wading in multiple inches of water after a quick shower and would be waiting 15+ minutes for it to drain for the next person to use the shower) from our first night onward. A few of us even slipped, almost falling, and had issues getting safely out of the shower. We told the front desk almost everyday throughout our stay and were told that someone would be coming, but the issue never improved. Most of the time, we would be complaining to the night time receptionist since we were out all day. We also had a room booked for four people, but their WiFi could only give 3 people access per room, so one of us were constantly off WiFi or had to go down to the front desk to get a different code for an empty room (if there was one).

The hotel,was very central, close to most sites. The staff were exceptionally kind and thoughtful. It could get noisy at night on the weekend.

I stayed offseason and it was wonderful. Room was good. The staff was very polite and helpful. Very good location.

The location was great The walls were paper thin and could hear neighbouring guests very easily. The noise from traffic outside and also night time crowds throughout the night was very loud and made for a very difficult night sleep
