Great location, super friendly staff, loved the interior The a/c wasn’t super effective in my room, but I think it may have been the settings or age of the unit. It cooled the room down so it wasn’t too hot to sleep, but the temperature it was set to didn’t match the room temperature or the air coming out of the unit. To be fair, I didn’t ask the staff to check it out because I could sleep.

The staff is fantastic — friendly, helpful and so welcoming. The location is amazing. Lots of spots to eat and hangout literally right outside your door. The neighborhood is lively but most nights the sound is pretty well muffled in the room. The bathroom is good — the shower isn’t one of those teeny ones you can barely fit into. The room has AC but it was a little anemic. At times it felt more like a fan than AC. My only wish would have been to be a little cooler at night. Very near Restaurant Turin - delicious seafood. A block or two away from the MAMAC (Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain) - Nice's premier modern art museum. A block away from the Garibaldi / Le Château tram station (to/from the airport) and convenient for nearby bus stops. Eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner all in the same block. A convenient organics store is across the courtyard.

Good breakfast, vintage style interior, comfortable rooms with great beds and the staff were nice. Right in the very center of Nice. Would recommend!

It was very central - unfortunately - due to a flight delay - l didn't have the chance to fully explore the neighbourhood - but it was lively. The wifi was flakey and went down - possibly for the weekend.
