it is close tot he beach. super clean. and the most important thing is the building itself. it isn’t concrete building. it is warm, not humid. you can sleep very well. the only thing is i couldn’t find the hot water for shower. but the water wasn’t cold. so if you can swim you can take shower. not so much important

All of the staff members were very friendly, helpful, and professional. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Nungwi, within easy walking distance to the beach and many shops and restaurants, while still being quiet at nighttime. The food in the restaurant was very good. Some of the furnishings in the restaurant and room are a bit rundown; nothing bad, just could benefit from being updated, for example couch cushions in the restaurant that are a bit warped. Also, the water in the shower was warm, but not hot. This is okay as the weather is pretty warm in Nungwi, but it is nice to have the option of hot water.

I like everything. The location is great, 3 minutes from the beach. Everything was clean, the room is good, with hot water. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is delicious. I will come back again.

Everything was just perfect. The room is very spacious and comfortable, big bathroom, quite a lot of storage as well. The owners and everyone on the staff is simply amazing. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. They even opened breakfast dining area earlier when we were leaving on a tour. On the check out day we were leaving at 4 am so they prepared breakfast to go for us the evening before. People at the restaurant were simply amazing, thank you all for making out stay in Nungwi amazing. The lodge is very close to the beautiful beach, there is also a restaurant on the property with delicious fish. There is also currency exchange on the property if needed. We felt great, welcomed and safe at the lodge. 100% recommended. Nothing

Location not too far from the beach. After some initial problems with door locks and toilet flushing (these were fixed in a day) we had a very comfortable stay, lovely spacious rooms, staff polite, helpful and friendly. Although they don't sell beer they are very happy to go to the super market to get you some and put it in their fridge, there is also a fridge in your room.

his hotel is nice and with good location this hotel is nice and with good location, but - 1, hotel manager know that running hot water is not working, and still - he give me this room . 2 - this hotel is located in a place that in 5 a.m. your night sleeping will be destroyed by the speakers from the local mosque (it's didnt hapen to me in the other 7 night in zanzibar)

Great location very close to the beach and restaurants, very comfortable bed, regular cleaning including changing sheets and towels. Overall great value for money. Hard soap offered instead of liquid, sometimes too loud music coming from the restaurant.

Staff were very pleasant. Wifi good. Room perfectly pleasant. I knew this was a budget accomodation. But some little issues that could make the experience better. I was offered and asked for breakfast at 7h30 which suited me as I was going diving at 8h00. No-one appeared until 7h55. Electric issues with the room lights and plugs only resolved after I asked twice. Location was quiet which is what I wanted but it was a bit of a muddy backroad to get to the beach.

Very good location. Near the street of restaurants, mini markets, boat for dolphin tour, beaches etc etc. There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves quite a variety of dishes and fair price. The boss also runs the tour company next to the lodge, very handy to sign up day tour (Dolphin tour) and hiring car to your next destination. Fair price. We hired a car through the boss to tour around the east coast and going down to Jambiani and Kizimkazi. We paid extra to book a full day (9am to 5pm) so that we can sightsee along the way and stop for coffee and lunch. It was well planned, but unfortunately we didn't have a good driver. He kept saying he should get more pay for doing so, we even called the boss to talk about the plan and route and briefed the driver. But the driver just not happy about it...... it was not pleasant at the second half of the journey (He just demanded more money) We reached our final destination much early, ended the road trip before 4pm..... And we just refused to tip him at all. Nothing much to do about the lodge or the boss. Just the driver personality is just not good! The boss should know who is that driver.

Very close to the beach and other restaurant around. This was our second time we stayed in Kivulini, and we will back again.
