ibis Nuernberg Altstadt

The room was clean. The bed linen and towels also were clean. The staff was polite and helpful. The hotel is right in the centre, but it’s really noisy at night if you open the window. The room was in the attic. It was small. Just to come in the room were steep spiral stairs. It wasn’t written in room’s description. It wasn’t a big difficulty for us, but if a person has some moving issues it is a serious problem. The bathroom is quite clean, but out of dare, it needs some renovation. The hotel doesn’t have its parking, but you can find parking place not far from hotel and hotel provides the discount for this parking. The advice to park there if you ask about the parking.

This was my first time trying an ibis Hotel and I will definitely stay at their hotels again in the future. You cannot find a better value for your money. For just a little over 60 euros per night, you get a clean, comfortable (albeit quite basic) room in the absolute best location in Nürnberg as it is only a 4 min walk to the train station and steps away from all the main attractions in the Altstadt. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind throughout my stay. I frequently travel through Nürnberg to other points in Germany, and I will definitely stay at the ibis Hotel Nürnberg Altstadt again. In my opinion a hotel chain like ibis Hotel should provide a safe in the room, especially in an urban environment. And it would have been nice if there had been a coffee maker and/or tea kettle in the room. The room was very comfortable and clean, but it was very basic.

Quiet room. Clean. Nice big place to place a suitcase and plenty of shelving. The shower is a little cramped.

The locations is close to the trainstation, but rather quiet. The staff was very nice and welcoming.

In Gehdistanz zum Bahnhof und direkt in der Altstadt. Sehr freundliches & hilfsbereites Personal. Sauberes, kühles & ruhiges Zimmer. Reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Location at the beginning of the Altstadt and close to the train station was great. Quiet, though on the main street. Staff were friendly. We were in room 608 which oddly has a spiral staircase in the room (goes over 2 floors and was accessible from the 5th floor). We were fine, but it would not be for someone with limited mobility since there were a lot of steps. Breakfast was too expensive for us (I think 15 Euros), so we got something from a nearby bakery.

Tobula vieta apsistoti, viešbutis yra pagrindinėje gatvėje, jungiančioje didžiausias Niurnbergo lankytinas vietas, šalia Lorenco bažnyčios, aplink daug restoranų, visai čia pat - metro ir geležinkelio stotis. Nepaisant to, kad kambarys buvo tiesiai virš restorano, nesigirdėjo absoliučiai jokio triukšmo. Kambarys net erdvesnis nei tikėjomės, radome viską, ko reikia. Personalas ypač paslaugus, jau išsiregistravus pasaugojo lagaminus iki skrydžio, kuris buvo vėlai vakare. Pačios geriausios rekomendacijos, jei norite patogiai apsistoti centre ir susipažinti su įspūdingu Niurnbergo miestu. Tokių dalykų nebuvo.

In the old town, near the train station. Most of the rooms are accessible by elevator, although the top floor is not, and a few rooms are on in-between floors. Breakfast was very good. My room had very good blinds to keep the sun out in the morning, and good climate control.

Three minutes from the train station this hotel is a great first stay after a transatlantic flight. It offers the option for a family of 3 to sleep in one room. The rooms are very clean but also very basic. I like the environmental considerations of minimizing waste by providing only one towel per person and offering bulk hair/ body wash. Bed was comfy, room quiet and air conditioning worked well. Staff is very friendly, check in easy. Next to hotel a good burger place. Price for the basic fair a little ambitious.
