I let the reviews guide me for this trip and they were all wrong. This hotel smelled like cigarettes and weed in the hallways elevator common areas. The roof was leaking as you come out of the elevator on the 3rd floor. Our room faced the street so there was so much noise we didn’t sleep at all between the freeways noise and the baby screaming their lungs out next door. This was a horrible experience. Room was so stuffy and smell like old. Don’t waste your time. Find a better place.

The room was clean and well-maintained. I needed a blanket and tech support- these were supplied within 30 minutes. Get the water side- Nice view of the estuary- the city side looks at highway 880 and railroad tracks.

Enjoyed the service and felt supported throughout my entire stay. I was even recommended some yummy food options in the area, supporting local businesses :)

The staff were welcoming, location next to the water lovely, although some homeless living there took away from the loveliness of the walk ways. Good location near Oakland/Alemeda border and easy drive to and from Oakland International Airport.,

The hotel was nice and clean. It's not in a great area, but there is a lot of construction and seems like the area is getting a facelift. Real convenient off the 880 freeway. Lots of food options within 10 miles. But breakfast at the hotel was a great start to the day.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the bed and armchair were super comfy, great facilities including a filtered water dispenser and hot water machine near the lobby, all with the serenity of being right on the water. Would definitely stay here again!

I didn’t like the stay! Carpet / Floor is old and the bathroom is mildew smell. I wanted the non smoking and turn out getting the smoke room. I ensure when first open the room, it’s fully weeded smell, I came down to the front desk and ask to change to another room, I got is, mam, the room is nonsmoking but if you want to change I will change to another room. I’m like, not that I want to change the room, it’s the room itself is Not nonsmoking room. Anyhow, I’m not coming back because the carpet, the mildew of the restroom, and the old bedding sheets making me feel dammed! Luckily I brought my own towels!

This is the perfect overnight stay. We got a great deal to upgrade to a suite so we did. Had a balcony with a water view and it was beautiful! Breakfast was amazing too. We will stay again!

Excellent place to stay

The showers were a bit odd, a lot of water would pool on to the floor. Other than that, everything was great and I'd book again for another upcoming trip.

The issue for me was the safety rating. I got there at night and the cops were there. Like a lot of them blocking off a lot of the parking lot. It's set in a beautiful place along a body of water. And the bathroom in my room smelled heavily like cigarettes even though it was non smoking and the hallway like pot. ( first floor) frustrating when you're traveling with kids

Breakfast was not good. Staff was good and helpful. Surrounding area was super sketchy but we didnt have any issues. Overall was a good stay but my family was scared by the Surrounding area.

The view

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable enough. The dinner was good breakfast was fair. Ran out of several items. The jacuzzi did not work. The staff were friendly.

Room is clean and staff is very kind. Breakfast is good.
