I would not recommend this hotel. The facilities were not clean, the bathroom was broken and they didn’t repair it, they don’t give you more than half a toilet paper, at night it’s very noisy, they sheets and towels were dirty. The only good part is the location.

No hot water. Paid for the breakfast and was told it was the American breakfast which was coffee and 2 slices of white toast which I found insulting.

Location Everything else. Bad wifi, no hot water, no air conditioning, starchy towels and an oblivious front desk. This place could be so much better, a real gem, if only they could get it together.

No air conditioning

Breakfast was terrible, they offered only half of a small apple and tea. The only good thing there was the location. Although too noise. The room was old, the walls of the room are peeling of, the sink in the bathroom wasn't working, there was water on the floor coming of from the button of the sink, they didn't want to give us another room downstairs, they offer one but there was on the 3rd floor and no elevator, so they turned off the water taps., We didn't have water all night, to the point that we had to leave our room and go to another bathroom to wash our hands if we used the toilet. We asked them to give us a refund or a discount, and they were very negative about it. We were very unhappy; I do not recommend this hotel.

Elegant old style rooms with beautiful furniture. The rooms are deep inside the building so the street noises do not penetrate. The staff was very friendly. Very clean. The lobby has been remodeled since the photos that I saw on Booking but it’s lovely either way. On Booking it gave the address of 112 but the entrance, upon arrival said 110. The rooms do not have windows. Over the doorway is some beautiful wood scrollwork that has holes in it’s intricate design so there is some air exchange to the sitting parlor just outside of the doors.

I was amazed by furniture all over the property! It remain me Versal or even Louvre and it impressed my imagination... Plus the rooms have theirs own names! It's so interesting and unusual that makes this place very unique. I like everything and do not have any disappointments.

Hard to find, the place has a different name. The room wasn’t pleasant at all, very uncomfortable. The gave us the last room all the way to the top of the old building,no hot water.

The staff gave us different rooms than we had booked due to maintenance issues in the building. But they didn't inform us about this relocation, which meant, that we suddenly had to move around which caused confusion and discomfort. Furthermore, they suddenly demanded that we had to pay a lot of extra money for a better room, which we hadn't chosen ourselves - it was them, whom had made us take the room due to their problems in the building. The way the communicated to us made us very uncomfortable, and we felt forced to pay a fee, that was unjustified. We cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

So bad , it was no hot water and all night licking hot water because the past leaking water all night was humidity all night I tell the manager change the room but he tell me he’s manager refused to do that so the hotel make my trip horrible horrible. I think they have to give me my money back because it’s fair. So bad

The location is great it’s really close to the centre and right beside two huge markets. We unfortunately had to switch accommodation halfway through our stay (after 4 nights). The rooms are all facing the main hall so it’s super noisy when people are there. There was also a cockroach in our room and no hot water in the shower. We asked if we could switch rooms as I saw they had another one available on booking but the receptionist told us that’s not possible so we booked another accommodation in Oaxaca for the remaining 4 nights of our stay. When we were giving the keys back, there was another woman on reception who was so lovely and offered us the available room but it was too late to cancel our new accommodation or we would have lost money on that too and it was more expensive. It’s a shame she wasn’t working that morning as she did so much to try and resolve the situation for us ! Would only recommend staying here if you need a central location and not staying very long in Oaxaca.

Location was really good. The room we booked had Some serious problems (humidity, bathroom, lack of ventilation, no window) and the staff moved us to another room to help us. The full hotel and the street were under renovation. This meant dust everywhere and not being able to use the patio - which was one of the main features/facilities of the hotel. Also we were supposed to have breakfast included but it ended up be only coffee and bread. For everything else we had to pay. More clarity on these restrictions would have been appreciated
