The room was hot. It does have a ceiling fan but we were there during a heatwave so we did miss having a cooler space to rest.

Very cute setup with a local feel. The staff is very nice and extremely helpful. We forgot something in the room and they did everything needed to get it delivered to us.

The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and I liked the way they served it at one big table in the courtroom. They supported a lot of local arts and crafts. The noise level from the road was a little high.

Such a wonderful place, with lovely accommodations, delicious breakfasts, and super-helpful staff. The terrace is a gem. Location is perfect, on the edge of the busiest zone.

Hot water didn’t work until well into my second night staying — that’s a prettty deal after getting off a long flight. Staff had someone fix it on day 2

Everything. The kitchen promotes meeting other people in the included breakfast. The vibe is amazing Nothing

Breakfast provided is always wonderful and flavorful. The typical beds of Mexico are a bit hard but otherwise everything is wonderful.

Staff was friendly and helpful; the location was excellent The morning breakfast was excellent. It felt like home. No complaints , it does lack air conditioning but that wasn’t a problem. I was comfortable.

The decoration is very traditional and feels homey however its a bit expensive for what it offers. The breakfast was really tasty and varied every day, and the staff were really nice and accommodating! The bed and room were comfortable and we didnt have any issues with the noise.

Outstanding breakfast in a beautiful courtyard. Very friendly with everyone sitting round a large table. Nice roof terrace. One night some guests came in late and talked loudly. Not the fault of the hotel but all rooms open onto the central courtyard so all noise can be heard. The guests apologised to everyone else the next morning! They did realise they had been noisy!!

The perfect place to rest and relax after a day walking the streets of Oaxaca. The staff are super friendly, the breakfast is DELICIOUS, location perfect, rooms clean and beds really comfy. (The sheets smell amazing too!). The roof terrace is also a great place to chill, with beautiful views of the mountains. The owners clearly also care about the environment and are conscious about doing what they can to save water, including placing buckets in the shower to catch water, which is then used to water plants etc. I really loved this place and would definitely come again! Nothing I didn’t like!

Personal, fresh flowers and fruit and food, warm staff, great travel advice and support, all the little details of a pensione. The king room, while good value for a bigger room, was the one upstairs room (so a hotter space) which is also challenging because it’s above the breakfast prep area.

Staf was nice and the breakfast was delicious. Had a nice patio on the roof.

Beautifully decorated hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast every morning was delicious and I loved the fact that everyone sat at the same table. The rooftop was very relaxing!I loved this stay!

We had a wonderful stay at El Diablo y La Sandia! The location, amazing breakfasts, helpful and kind staff, clean and organized space. Everybody made us feel welcome and taken care of. Although we arrived very early, Fernando helped us check into our room without a long wait. He was also very kind and helpful throughout our stay! Thank YOU all.

Beautiful and so quaint!

The central patio with the open kitchen is a great place to have coffee and breakfast. The room was large as the washroom, too. The merchandise available for purchase was great....the Roof Terrace was very nice and peaceful space. Breakfast was also awesome.. Nothing really....

Great breakfasts, usually typical Mexican food. Relaxing, location good and not in the midst of bustle in the center. Warm staff. Towels were scratchy. Not enough windows, but good overhead fan.
