Beautiful rustic authenticity and close proximity to everything in the centro area Nothing

Easy check in with friendly staff. We arrived later around 11pm and we were told that the parking garage across the street closed at 10. If we had called sooner, they could have kept it open for us but we did not know. It was not a problem because we were able to park outside the hotel and the staff ensured us it was secure.

The location is very convenient and easy to get to the city center, but the facilities are relatively old.

Very nice little hotel, just steps from the main square and located between the local markets and more upscale areas. Wonderful courtyard, extremely clean and spacious rooms, and friendly staff. They asked us to pay in cash in Mexican Dollars, which made it very difficult for us, ruining our cash balance.... I recommend to pay in advance via Booking with the credit card.

The location, layout, room size, architecture, cleanliness, restaurant, staff, and overall value all scored very well with us! We stayed in room 7 which was on the second floor, was decent size with high ceilings, and had convenient access to the roof top for sitting and viewing. Loved the artwork, plants and flowers, and convenience to everything downtown. Somehow the WiFi card in our room was lost, and we had to pay a fee for that. Also the shower head was a little messed up and the shower stream wasn’t that good.

Was not aware, even after searching every correspondence from Booking as well as from the hotel, that they do not accept credit cards. However, after pleading with the staff they finally let us pay with a card. Very surprised at this situation in such a tourist heavy location. This fact should be stated clearly on the website. Had I known ahead of time I would not have booked this hotel.

It’s a beautiful building with a lovely inner courtyard. The artwork and sculptural furniture in the courtyard offers some chances for observation and reflection. There is seating on the second floor amidst healthy potted plants giving a sense of privacy. The staff is gracious and helpful. Our room was small but had multiple electrical outlets and convenient light switches on the headboard. Comfortable bed and AC worked well. The shower had good water pressure and temperature. The courtyard becomes a breakfast/lunch restaurant with excellent quality reasonably priced food. Across the street is a coffee shop for those who like a cappuccino etc.

Right in the thick of it location wise which is pretty sweet. You can walk outside the hotel and there’s street food everywhere, zocilo is right there, etc. It was bumping but also we never found it too loud at night. Beautiful plants and nice rooftop square A little farther from the other neighborhoods if you care about that, and exploring those areas!

Amazing staff.

Perfect location and a walking distance from all of the city’s highlights. Also extremely helpful staff that helped us get around, housekeeping was excellent and even organized all our belongings well (you’ll just have to specifically request it by leaving your key with the front desk while you go out for the day). A/C worked well with an easy remote control. Even though the breakfast is not included, we still had it there one of the mornings we were staying and it was great and reasonably priced! Would definitely stay again next time we’re in Oaxaca. Nothing comes to mind, everything went smoothly.

Great location, safe, and confortable. There was no water. We couldn't shower or even brush our teeth.

A beautiful garden-like ambience. Simple, elegant rooms with tall ceilings. Convenient location, close to everything. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. A wonderful little place to lounge and kick back when traveling in Oaxaca. Hard to get hot water for making my own tea. (The hotel does sell tea and coffee from their kitchen but there’s no coffee maker in the room. )

Clean/big room/nicely decorated

Given that it is so centrally located it was quite loud at night, that was our main con but manageable with earplugs. Also, our room only had one small window, but it did have AC so it wasn't a huge concern.

This is nice hotel very close to the center of town (Zocalo). Everything was near and accessible. The staff was very responsive to our needs. I would recommend.

The courtyard on the main level and the terrace above were beautiful and very inviting. We spent a couple hours, one evening, just sitting on the covered terrace just listening to the rain and looking out onto the lights of the city. Likewise, the staff were incredibly inviting and helpful. Just a wonderful, wonderful location/experience overall. Nothing that I can think of.

This place is fantastic. The photos don’t do it justice! The building is absolutely gorgeous, in a super nice location. The rooms are simple but comfortable (huge bed!). absolute gem!
