Staff excellent, breakfast choices limited.. presentation good. More food choices would be better.

Friendly staff, and opportunity to park our vehicle around the corner in underground parking. The music speaker just outside our room that had music going into well into the evening -

It was a very close to the plaza. Great room and very comfortable. We liked everything about the hotel.
-
very clean, cute colonial boutique hotel
-
nice surprise, breakfast was included. But in the online ads it was not! No windows in the room. Very pricey vs other similar properties. Location was 4 long blocks from the main square. Told us the booking was not cancellable but in the policy package in the room it was. I inquired as well and was told that it was not cancellable. otherwise i would have and saved 50%!

The hotel was lively, comfortable and a great location. Easy to walk to so many local sights and so many cafes and restaurants near by. Breakfast included with our stay was great value and overall staff excellent!
-
Excellent location within walking distance to the zocalo, churches, shops, markets, cafes and restaurants. Quiet at night for sleeping. Great breakfast of fruit, coffee and choice of continental breakfast or eggs cooked how you like/ Mexican style chilaquiles etc Staff very friendly, helpful and accomodating. Fresh water provided daily. A cage lift is available for getting suitcases upstairs Hard to find something we didn't like. Our room window opened out to the courtyard ( not natural light/ a view). But this is the structure of the building. We would stay again.

Love this boutique hotel near the center of Oaxaca! The friendly staff are very helpful and went the extra mile for us. Helped us with laundry (definitely get it done here, the price is so reasonable compared to big hotels), restaurant reservations, directions, etc. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast is delicious and the breakfast staff are very friendly.

Just because a chair was in the room, didn't really make it a junior suite, but the room was lovely. It was a little bit farther from town center than expected but not too bad
-
Safety The villa was ok and was far from the main center, a good walk.
-
The breakfast was excellent and the persons attending the restaurant experience, and knowledgeable of their culinary abilities.
-
.Room was big and clean. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast not much choice
-
I liked that it was within walking distance to the zocalo, and the breakfast was amazing. Sometimes traffic noise late at night, but that can't be avoided.
-
Loud people voices from the courtyard can easily wake you up due to the echo. But it didn't happen too often.

Very good

The only reason I didn't give the staff the top rating is because several of the office staff didn't speak much English and I speak very little Spanish. But it worked out. Patricia was the best! There wasn't a sign in our room saying to throw the toilet paper in the waste basket so we clogged the toilet! Staff was very nice about it though. The room, Catedral, didn't have a window to the outside which would have been nice. The room had a small rug between the 2 beds which is a tripping hazard. The information provided by the office staff on the SunTours was inadequate. We were not made aware of all of the extra fees and tips not included. But the tours were great. I will definitely recommend Casa Divine to friends. When the tours start at 8:20-30, the breakfast room should open up earlier than 8am.

A bit far from the center. Lot of walking.

Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood with tree-lined streets. Great breakfast staff!!! Nice small bar on the corner, and only a few streets from the zocalo. Room and courtyard very nicely furnished and comfortable. Our room was behind the office, which was very dark, but probably because we had a king room, and kings aren’t common in Mexico. We had trouble with the toilet three times, and once with the sink. The staff took care of them right away, but the toilet became an issue by the last day. The hotel charges for coffee in the room each day after the first day, as well as anything extra you order for breakfast, which I think is annoying and uncalled for with what they charge for the rooms. They didn’t even cancel the charges for the coffee after we had all the problems with the plumbing- not good business sense. There’s a dog next door on the roof that barked every morning and we were on the ground floor; we realize that can’t be helped, but at least a warning and apology for the noise would have been nice. Otherwise, very quiet.

Breakfast was excellent. I liked Huevos Estilo Mexicano, pero no tenian que dar tres huevoas cadauna de nosotroras. The cooks and waitresses were very nice and kind. All the employees, Patricia, Julio,Yahl(?) were very kind and thoughtful. we were 3 guests in a Juior suite. But we had to ask for the 3rd bathtowels and the 3rd glasses all the time. SOFABED semed not to be used for a long time and it was very old and uncomfortable.Unfortunately, one of us who used it was bitten by PLUGAS or Garrapatas. We, other two wanted to complain about it, but the person who was the victim did not want to complain, as she was a very very nice Japanese lady. Since you asked to fill the survey, I should tell you in a loud voice to get rid of the Sofabed and get a new one for the future gurdts.

Fairy spacious villa and decent sized bedrooms. Location was good. The “fold out sofa” for the 5th person was horrible. Extremely uncomfortable. Ended up sleeping on the floor. No top sheets, only bottom sheets for beds with no quilt cover (not hygienic). As the villa was a drive away from the main hotel, we were not given information about the included breakfast. At 9pm the first night I enquired and was sent a photo of the menu and was told it would be delivered to us in the morning. It was very confusing and we thought it would be cold by the time it arrived. They offered to send us a taxi to eat at the hotel. This was very generous, however the breakfast was not an all good so we did not eat there the other 2 days. The water pressure for the showers was pathetic.
