The breakfast was outstanding! Thank you. Great flavor and different choices every day. The door locks/pads to bedrooms don’t match the instructions and we were very frustrated trying to enter these rooms. :(
-
The location Horribly ripped off. Will never stay again or recommend to anyone.

The place was nicely decorated situated at a perfect spot in the city. The breakfast is for free and was great granola, oats, egg, and some mexican dishes all cooked by the lovely women working. They try to give you a great stay by for example preparing the jacuzzi for us and even bringing up our drinks on ice. A great value for money and a real recommendation! The information in the app doesn’t always match up with the reality. For example it said that we had to reserve breakfast upfront and it would be between 10-12 but really it was free and available from 8:30. A very pleasant surprise! Also it takes quite long before the shower is hot, with the water shortage in Oaxaca in mind this could be done better.

We loved everything about the hotel. It is beautifully decorated, convenient, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Nothing

Perfect location close to everything yet quiet, super comfortable beds, very clean, large room and bathroom. Great service, excellent breakfast. N/A

The staff was amazing and so helpful. They really went out of their way. Both my partner and his brother got sick and they made them tea. When we were leaving there was a parade and the staff helped us chase down a taxi.

This place is perfect for numerous groups. We all had the privacy of our individual rooms but could gather together in the eating area or the central garden throughout the day. The location is perfect. The property is located just a a few steps away from the Zocalo. Everything was within walking distance. It felt very safe and secure. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was really nice too.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was beautifully designed and spacious. The entire check in process was awful. I made the booking last minute, and upon arrival, I had to check-in through a website in order to receive the key code to enter the main door. It took 45 minutes from submitting the required info for my info to be processed on the back end. There was no other way to enter the hotel without receiving the key code. And the communication was super unclear. When we called customer service, the agent was incredibly short, bordering rude. In addition, the room door was super insecure. It also required a code to unlock the door, but you could simply push the door with a small bit of force and it'd open. It was the same with the closet door inside the room, which had a separate lock. We felt that we were unsafe and our things were not secure during our stay.

Great location! Staff were very helpful! The size of the room was small. We hardly could fit two luggages.

I have no complaints

Loved the decor. The inside courtyard was stunning. Bathroom was spacious and beds really comfortable. Slight communication issue upon arrival (our fault, we flew in earlier than expected) - check-in is all electronic, so we had to wait a little to be able to access the hotel. However, the staff was very helpful, offered us juice and coffee while we were waiting for our room access.

The location was central, aesthetic, and within walkable distance of the main touristic spots in Oaxaca de Juaréz. On the day of our departure, the hot water for some reason went out and one of us had to shower with cold water. Disclaimer: tourists must know about the region's water scarcity.

Beautiful boutique hotel the room was gorgeous. We walked in with our code that was sent security greeted us made sure we got into our room. Great location walking distance to everything four blocks from Santo Domingo plaza. There’s a cute lil market across the street for drinks or snacks. Also the bakery across the street is delicious. The whole hotel was spotless so clean staff was always cleaning and friendly. The free breakfast was delicious in the morning. I would stay at Holt again.

Nothing besides the location. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had! There was a water pump directly above the room in the ceiling. It was so noisy and the constant noise was unbearable. The water pump was turning off and on all day and night! I was trying to communicate with the hotel staff over messages and emailed them the sound recording (note: there is no one to help you onsite) and they would take hours to respond and proceed to do nothing about the noise or move us to another room. I was even told to wear the provided earplugs and use the white noise machine that is provided in the room!! I didn’t sleep for 2 nights due to this. They said they would fix it and said it was fixed the following day but we returned to our room and it was still going on! I expressed that I wanted to cancel, get a refund as we had booked 3 nights and go to another hotel but they were not responsive. On the final night they moved us next door, which you could still hear the water pump going off but it was not as noisy. Another thing to note with this hotel is that they use a digital wallet application to open the front door that doesn’t always work and if you have internet issues then you can’t get in! I requested compensation for the first 2 nights and they refused. This is appalling from a hotel of this level and I have reported this experience to Booking.com as a formal complaint. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone if you would like a pleasant experience.

Location was fine. Facilities were clean. The entire experience including check in and out is done on your phone. No one is present on site to assist with anything. This should be clear in original advertising of this property.
-
Great location, breakfast with very smart options, nice and quiet street, walking distance from most attractions, the rooms have a great size, the bathrooms are full of light and are nicely decorated, very good communication with the staff. More info about, the cities, a map with nearby attractions and services around, like laundromat, dry cleaning hair salon, pharmacy, Taxi services around, restaurant recommendations, etc.

It was ok. I probably wouldn't stay here again. If you're looking for a hotel experience, this isn't it. It's similar to an airbnb. All communication happens through whatsapp or email. The photos make it seem a bit more high end than it actually is.

Very good

Hidden gem in the hear of the city. Excellent, must-to-stay there boutique hotel. Beautiful courtyard, fresh refurbished rooms, and huge, a la 5 star hotel bathroom is a firm mark of this place. Very good breakfast, with excellent display, a huge variety of available food, and a proper table setting. We will go back to this hotel.

I loved the decoration they had in the courtyard. The architecture, furniture, plants, and trees, everything looked in place. The room was comfortable and equipped with all you could need for your stay. I would stay here again. Thanks!
