Francis Scott Key Family Resort

The staff were awesome. They upgraded us because of some issue with somebody else’s stay, but they upgraded us to one of the cottages and which was OK. The cottage really needed to be updated. There was a pretty musty smell in there most of the time we were there which was only a day or two. The dining room table was not up to par seem dirty sticky just seem to need meaning the whole place updating and gone through major cleaning to get that musty smell out and the beds were not that comfortable under the beds were dirty, even behind the dressers!

I loved it here I plan on going again and again and again everyone was very polite and helpful it was no need to leave the resort everything was there from a bar to a restaurant to gift shop and a movie room indoor and outdoor pools. Great little inexpensive family getaway

Only six minutes to the boardwalk and they will give you discounts if your a guest there for special activities. I booked the one that had the kitchenette. The only thing was the stove and oven didn’t work right but maintenance came right away to fix that. Great fun place!!!

The AC was leaking water, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. Overall, the room was uncomfortable and not well maintained. For the price, I expected much better. I would not recommend this hotel.

Plenty of things to keep the family occupied, and the shuttle to the boardwalk is FANTASTIC. I appreciate that this is offered so we don't have to struggle with parking at the beach. This was our first time in the Main Lodge and it was so convenient that there is a restaurant downstairs now AND that they allow online ordering. Late night pepperoni slice for a picky kid? So convenient to keep him fed and happy. Wednesdays are 50 cent wing night, too, which the kiddo was very happy about. It was our first time in the Main Lodge and there were just some yellow ceiling stains in the bathroom, random spots. The door also had a lot of trouble closing on our way out, but we figured out a workaround. It's been about 5 years since we've stayed there, and the cost of things like the "Sneaky Tiki" refills are a little more than I remember, and it would be great if there were options like boneless wings at the restaurant on site. What I didn't like the most, though? Just that we couldn't stay longer. We really DO enjoy our visits there immensely, and this was our second visit. I'm bummed it took us so long to get back, but am hoping it doesn't take us ANOTHER five years to prioritize a visit.

Second time staying here. Great family vacation!

My kids love the outdoor pool a lot. We hang out there most of the time we stayed. The indoor pool is more for the little kids, my little one love it. We had a wonderful time.

WE’LL BE BACK! Francis Scott Key surpassed our expectations, my daughter truly enjoyed herself and is already asking about next year!! With so many amenities, you can really just stay at the resort.

I liked having the pool, putt-putt, fish pond, and restaurant on the property.

We had a lot of fun I brought my 9 year old son and 19 year old daughter . Plenty too keep us occupied . Games , pools , movie night , and more .. It was a good time . Good memories for sure ! We like the pool at night time . The lights we cool . The indoor pool was neat as well . My younger son made many friends and with the help of the game rooms and pool he was able to keep occupied all day without doing the ,,,dad, dad,dad !!!!

Exceptional

My room was very clean everything but the microwave. I was surprised as most popular properties can be worn down at Ocean City. I didn't use the pools because we spent most time on beach etc . But it was great to come back to a safe clean room I chose a ground floor unit because I have a 5yr old boy and I didn't want to bother other guest. But I was bothered by other guest running at 6am and waking me. It sounded as if the were inside of my unit with me . I think if parents are checking in with small kids they should be put on ground floor not above other guest. No one wants to be awaken at 6am to kids running above them.

Superb

Everything is at your fingertips. Everybody was very nice and helpful. In our room in the bathroom it felt like part of the floor was slanted near the toilet and every time you sat down to use the bathroom in our unit it wobbled. We were going to use the dresser in our room but when you open the drawers it smelled like mildew.

Very clean and a lot of amenities Resort a bit outdated but just needs a good paint job
