Hampton Inn & Suites Ocean City West

Room was in good condition. I was traveling with my two little ones for the weekend and had a king size bed with a pullout sofa. I asked for extra bedding which was provided. Also asked for a late check out (12pm instead of 11am) which they obliged to with no extra charge. Overall, I would definitely come back for my next trip to the O.C.

Everything was excellent. Everything looked perfect in the outside and inside.

The hotel itself is just okay. We used to really like Hampton Inn, and we actually stayed at this specific location three years ago. However, this time the experience was not as good as we expected. Housekeeping wasn’t done properly. It was provided every other day, and since we stayed for 8 nights, there were supposed to be 3 housekeeping visits. The housekeeping included making the beds, refilling amenities, replacing towels, and emptying the trash. The housekeeper completely missed making our beds twice. There was also one time when only one of the two beds was made. I didn’t understand why. We also didn’t get the shower gel refilled, and there was no shower mat provided for the last housekeeping. The air conditioning in the hallways, except on the first floor, was broken for almost our entire stay. It felt like walking into a hot sauna every time we left our room. The pool was not clean. The one time we went swimming, we saw spit in the pool. It was disgusting, and we never used it again. I did appreciate the 24-hour hot beverages. However, they were not always refilled promptly. There were several times when the coffee pots were taken away and not replaced right away. Overall, the location is great, but the hotel did not provide the level of service and cleanliness we expected from Hampton Inn.

Front desk was helpful with any questions you had, the room was clean, just a bit mold on the shower ceiling, but nothing crazy, breakfast was fresh AC was great, I went on a weekend where the Marlin event was happening so traffic was horrendous. But definitely staying again

Room 220 had an unpleasant odor when the room temperature was turned up. There were many ants crawling on and around the trash can under the desk. We killed a moth flying around the window (no big deal) and a flea on the desk( big unpleasant deal). Otherwise the room appeared to be clean.

Housekeeping was deficient. Over a 4 night stay, Housekeeping made one visit, just one. And did not completely clean the room.

Close to everything West O. Dog friendly too!

We had an issues with a clogged toilet late night and the situation was remedied immediately.
