Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ocean City

Feeling of dampness in the room, property is basically a bare minimum. Would not consider it a "nice" hotel.

Friendly check in and clean room

Hotel was kept very clean, and is located in a convenient location, 5 minute drive to the boardwalk with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Plenty of parking available. The beds were comfortable. Room fridge does not have a freezer section. If you're going to the beach, fill your cooler with ice (machine on each floor) or get gallon ziploc bags to make ice packs. There is only 1 elevator in addition to stairs but it's pretty slow. Breakfast options were bagels, packaged muffins, cereal, yogurt, apples and a waffle and pancake maker. Pool was small and shared with neighboring motel on the premesis, no umbrellas on patio or towels handy. There is also a hot tub. There isn't housekeeping during your stay unless requested. You have to leave your trash and used towels outside your door in the morning and go to the front desk to request more towels. Not many places to hang wet towels or swimwear anywhere the room or bathroom. Extra hooks for hanging would be helpful, especially staying in a beach community. No dresser available, but cubby spaces to store your clean clothes. Insulation between floors and door are poor quality, you can hear everything. It's worse when you have kids jumping around the floor above you at 11:30pm. With plenty of other options with better amenities in a similar price range, I would probably look elsewhere on my next trip to Ocean City.

Our stay was great! The front desk staff and cleaning staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the pool and we loved that multiple families in our group were able to have rooms close to one another. The rooms were spacious and clean as was the breakfast area. My only complaint was that the coffee was a little strong (I just added hot water to it.) and I didn't love that there were minimal hot options for breakfast. Only pancakes and waffles. It would have been nice to have a hot protein breakfast. The kids loved that option, though. Overall, we had a fabulous stay and would stay there again!

This was my first time at the property and I’ll be back next year…. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We had a great stay!

New and clean. Room could lose a lamp or normal light. The lighting was dim.

The location is just six minutes from the beach when there's no traffic, lots of places to eat, and an all-around good vibe. Wish I could have stayed longer; however, work got in the way, so I had to limit my stay. Definitely a place I will visit again. I am familiar with the Wyndham Microtels, as I have visited the one in Columbus, GA, many times. The room was a great size, with lots of space; the beds were comfortable. The only recommendation I have is the lighting. One switch controls all of the lights, so it limits the lights you can turn on and the ones you want off. Also, brighter ligts in the bathroom would be great as well. Other than that, everything was fine.

Exceptional

Nice location. Rooms and hotel very clean. Equipment in exercise room was not up to par. Also breakfast was not what I expected. When I stay at other facilities the breakfast has more choices.

Helpful staff, comfortable & clean room. About a 10 minute drive from Ocean City, MD beach area.

The price was to high...

The bed was comfortable No WiFi or service at all !!!!!

Everything They needs to put egg in the breakfast

The property itself was fine. The location was good. There was broken exercise equipment. The pool was very hairy had a lot of peoples hair in it. The pillows were not pillow pillows. I don’t know what they were.

Cleanliness, room size, room look

Very basic , loud. No ceiling lights .

Location and room were positives. The elevator was old and slow. The breakfast was mediocre and the eating area was NOT kept clean.
