Kings Arms Motel

Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Room was as shown when booking. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was great. Only a block back from the beach. Location was excellent. I would definitely stay again! Bathroom was very small and outdated. Shower head needed replacing as it sprayed off. Hairdryer in bathroom did not work.

The location of the motel was ideal. It was only a short walk to the beach and boardwalk, which made it very convenient for enjoying the area without having to drive. There were also plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities within walking distance. Parking was convenient and easily accessible as well. Our stay was extremely disappointing. The motel is very outdated, particularly the bathroom, and the room itself was in poor condition. The TV was very small, the lighting was inadequate, and the air conditioner was so loud whenever it ran that it made both sleeping and watching television difficult. The room had a strong chemical cleaning-product smell that made us feel sick, yet despite the overwhelming odor, the room was still visibly dirty. There were stains on the walls in both the bedroom and bathroom, and there were pubic hairs stuck to the bathroom tile and walls. When we first entered the room, the floor was soaking wet, which was extremely concerning. Unfortunately, the issues extended beyond the room. Other guests were sitting outside their rooms smoking and apparently using recreational drugs. There were also guests being extremely loud well beyond normal hours, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep and adding to the overall uncomfortable environment. The pool was also very unclean, with various unidentified substances and debris floating in the water, something we were certainly not comfortable getting into. Overall, the condition, cleanliness, and environment of the property were far below what we expected. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend this motel based on our experience.

Loved that it didnt smell like cigarettes. Friendly staff. Right across the street from the board walk and beach. The pool looked nice but we didnt have time to use it. Bed was decently comfy. Shower water was nice and hot. It was pretty clean for what I thought we were going to walk into. The window ac was COOOLLLDDD and we loved that part. The shower head was leaking so the water was spraying everywhere. The bathroom couldve been just a touch cleaner. The noise was a lot while we trying to rest during the day as the was are thin. But at nught it was nice and quiet. Didn't like that there wasn't really anything to keep the sunlight out of the main room. Then when it was dark the main lighting wasn't great.

Only thing I liked during our stay was how close it was to the beach and boardwalk. This "motel" should not be charging ppl $300 for 1 night stay. The prices are insane its a rundown motel. The fact they can do this is crazy for a weekend and then price changes Sundays and week days. All the bad reviews for this motel I did not find to be all true. Only reason I booked this motel because it was the only 1 left for under $400. The 1st thing I did before I even took my bags in was checking for bugs, no roaches or bed bugs. I will not stay here again. If the price goes down to like $75 a night it would be worth it but not $300. Oh and there is no cable only 5 channels. The wifi did work but was very slow.

Liked the location and pool was nice. Room did not seem very clean. Had to ask for extra toilet paper. No air was on when we got there so was really hot and lots of flies.

The beds were so comfy. Close to boardwalk. Good value. Only 2 towels in a room
