We've been coming here for years now. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, the staff are amazing and accommodating and the pool is great! We like that it's not a long drive to the boardwalk, but far enough away where the area is quiet at night. The parking lot is sufficient, we never had a problem getting a spot when returning from our random activities. We'll be back next year for sure! Other than having to leave at the end of our vacation there was nothing not to like. It was perfect for us.

Our stay at Shangri-La was a wonderful experience and a throwback to the old days of traveling. While this motel is old, it is perfectly preserved, very clean and refreshed in appearance, and completely charming. The pool was perfect and had plenty of chairs and umbrellas available. I would definitely recommend any travelers to avoid the big, cold modern hotels and come to Shangri-La where the staff is friendly and you’ll greeted warmly. And don’t forget to say ‘hi’ to the night check-in host, Larry.

Loved Larry at the front desk! Loved that we had a full size fridge. The pool was warm and clean. It was close to the beach! Me and my 3 girls had a wonderful stay!

I have been staying in this motel for about four or five years now. The rooms are always clean, and the staff is very nice and helpful. The parking can be a bit awkward since all of the spaces are angled, but there are always enough spots. The beach access is very close, and there is a pool. There is a small kitchen in the rooms I have stayed in. This is a fairly basic motel though, so you may want to look elsewhere if you're looking for something super fancy. I definitely recommend staying here if you're interested.

Room was clean, pool was, need to up grade the tv to at least 42in. But overall nice place to stay.

Amazing staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff. Ocean side, across from a royal farms which is just convenient (oh and a fractured prune) Parking was easy and it the room was very clean

Close to the beach and outdoor pool! Coffee and tea available in the office, pleasant staff and owner makes you feel at home Nothing, met all our needs
