Ashore Oceanfront Hotel by Marriott

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was very clean and well maintained. There are two great restaurants on-site, easy beach access, chairs and umbrellas available for guests to use. The staff was wonderful, and the hot water worked perfectly throughout our stay. We had such a great experience and will definitely be staying here again!

All over what’s a great experience..

Overall the Ashore hotel was a great hotel right on the beach. Check is was easy and the receptionist was super sweet. The room was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. There was a small refrigerator and a kuerig coffee maker in the room. There is no microwave but I was told if you ask for one, if it's available, they will put one in the room. There is a "standing balcony" which means you cant sit out there, but only stand and we could see the ocean and bay which was cool. The terrace room was a fantastic third space.

Staff was very professional and patient with my little girl ne.

I paid for an ocean view and the put me on a really bad room view saying that buying through Expedia is not saying that we paid for a ocean view. So Expedia is giving a fake information to make us yo pay more for nothing

Disappointed. The hot tub was broken, our bathtub didn’t plug, and the AC was broken in our room. There was not a single vending machine or snack to be purchased in the hotel.

Very cute hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. Glad I didn't listen to others reviews. Two beach chairs were complimentary although they were completely full. Would have preferred loungers on the beach instead of chairs. If you drive, bring your own chairs as the pool area is small and have about 20 loungers which are hard to snag. There's a bar right outside of the pool area but the servers don't take orders at the pool (missed opportunity). Also bring a beach towel. The ones provided are kid sized.

Beach service was great. Food at the outside bar was great. Friendly staff Rooms didn’t have full balconies. Ocean view was limited Our room 816 had no mirror in the room. The door had no stopper to hold the door open

Location was great, pool was nice, and the room view was great. But the floor had scratches and cracks in it, some of the staff really were short with you if they didn’t know something, and the extra fees for so many things are a bit much. Like $25 per day for parking turned a 3 night stay into a $1000 trip. We booked a room with a bed and sofa bed and had to call just to get extra sheets for the sofa bed. And when you call the front desk for info on times of room cleaning, getting a response like “I don’t know that’s a housekeeping thing” is not amazing. No lifeguard at the pool which made me a bit nervous with a 3 year old. Not to mention that our check in day we drove 5 hours and were told we could come 90 mins or so early for checking, only to arrive and be told “check in starts at 4”. Like I said, location was amazing, beach was really nice, and some of the staff were very friendly. But would not recommend and won’t be staying again.

Better than i expected

The location was okay My room had a water leak which caused a water to run down the walls in the room below. There was at least 4 visits from the maintenance staff which greatly impacted our peace and stay. Also, we didn’t get to check-in on time because rooms were not ready. Imagine driving for hours and when you arrive having to wait an additional hour after the check-in time.

Very clean room. Staff was helpful and beach access was very convenient. Pool is a bit small and crowded. Bigger pool would have been nicer.

This was a last-minute trip so overall, the experience was good. The property was clean. It was right on the beach with a pool/beach bar, a nice restaurant and a top room that was more casual. My biggest disappointment was that none of the rooms are actually oceanfront in the balconies are not balconies. You cannot sit out on the tiny balcony, which was one of the main things that I was looking for, I would probably not stay there again for those reasons unless I had no other choice.

A lot of areas outside to sit.

I rented a room and they gave me another one. When I checked in, I asked how much parking was per night and they told me it was $5. When I paid, I saw an $80 discount, so I went back and asked another employee what the price was, and they told me it was $25 per night.I ordered a fried calamari from the bar and it came with a amount of grease, it was inedible. The pool water was also very dirty, it wasn't usable in all that heat.The employees were very attentive.

Worst place ever been, ask 3 time for a crib and never came, restaurant 👎 every thing was a mer dream
