We’ve been coming to the Admirals Inn annually for many years. We love the outdoor space, including the pool, hot-tub, bar, and fire-pit. The beds are comfortable as well and we enjoy the location, just out of the crowded area! The rooms have smelled musty last year and during this stay. They likely need new rugs, and some general upgrades. The tiles in the hot tub are breaking, the fire pit was broken, the gate to the pool needs repair and some of the common areas need paint and a spruce up. Most of these things don’t really bother us except for the musty smell in the rooms.

damp and musty. Our first thought was this isn't good. When we checked in, the check in guy was not friendly at all. The outside bar is nice and the bartenders, Aldean and Sarah were great! It was nice having just a quiet adult pool also. Well, night one whoever was in the room on top of us kept banging and making noise late at night and early morning. We gave it a pass the first night, but it continued every day and night. The manager was very kind and apologetic for all this. He went to the guests above us and told them this was unacceptable. We had housekeeping just clean the room for one night of our week stay, but sheets were not changed and our floors were not vacuumed. Truly disappointed is putting it lightly. We would never go back to staying here!

The King Room is clean, though don't have a balcony, which is always nice in summer. The staff is very friendly. We enjoy the pool and the hot tub a lot, such a bonus even in summer, and the beach is really close. Everything is walkable, maybe a little bit longer compared to those by the sea ones, but we kinda like it because it's a little bit out of the center center, so you don't need to get stuck in traffic to go in and out. The bathroom is clean but a little outdated. The TV has a strange gray color, maybe because it's not an HD?

Admiral's Inn is in a great location. You can walk anywhere you want to go. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The adult pool can use some additional lounge chairs and the place can use a refurbishing

I have stayed here multiple times for a reason...staff is great and I believe it has everything, including prime location that you could want. Love the addition of breakfast being offered. I think they should redo the decking on the Flagship building...there are multiple places where decking is broken and space between boards in an accident waiting to happen. I know not many people use the gym, but for those of us who do, please update your cardio machines. They are outdated and at least in need of maintenance...loud squeaking and loud rumbles from all of them is not what you want to hear at 6am. Also, I would have liked the option of a morning swim for my cardio but the pool doesn't open until 9am and by then it starts to gets crowded.

    Location and outside bar

We stayed in W109 which we have done in the past. It is in the compass rose building, which is for adults. The room was musty, the toilet paper was even wet from the humidity. The air conditioner was on, but… Everything was so humid and moist. At one point our second day there we heard a baby crying above us. I thought this was an adult building. We always request this room because we love it and there's three of us staying. This was awful. We will not be returning. I also think that you should start doing some upgrades for the staircase going up to the breakfast buffet. The painters shipping off the railings are weak and it's not beautiful. We've always enjoyed staying at the admiral Inn because it's central location to get into town. We enjoy the hospitality, but… You have to put some money into it. Next year we will come again to Ogonquit but we will stay someplace else. Hopefully you take this information into respect to upgrading the place and we may be back. On a sidenote, we have referred people for many years. We will not do it again.

It’s centrally located, the two pools are great, access to the bar, room was clean and staff was awesome! Especially Brittany at the front desk!!! The food at the bar took a long time, and the fire pit wasn’t going at night

Great location. Super nice staff. Great amenities. The pool is so refreshing. The gym is a real plus. The Helm restaurant is delicious! I wish the bed was firmer but others may love the plush mattress.
