Really great location. Parking on site is free. Close to the airport. Very basic rooms. Hard bed. The woman at the counter wasn’t friendly and hardly spoke English. Felt like I was bothering her when I checked in.

Large, clean room with window view of the old town church spires. Location was a bit complicated to find on the winding, one way streets. I was instructed to park in the garage on the level with small cars & a steeper entrance when I was driving an SUV. I was assigned a room on the first level, closest to the lobby & elevator with substantial noise, when I requested a room on a high floor, away from the elevator at the time I made the reservation.

The facilities and room were extremely outdated and the bed was very uncomfortable. We booked a different hotel for our return to Olbia and would not come back to Hotel Cavour.

There were quite some noises from other rooms. Sounds of the upstairs toilet you could hear.

Excellent location in center of Olbia. Nice little hotel with friendly staff. Quit rooms. Light breakfast. Easy car parking back of hotel. More choices for breakfast

Hotel is only mediocre, the location is excellent and the breakfast is pretty good which saves it Theres no safe in the room (we should have checked prior but in 2026 you would expect every hotel to have them), there’s a horrible smell from the shower water and the toilet is always running and making noise. Also the bathroom door doesn’t close properly so the horrible shower smell gets into the whole room.

The receptionist during the day could have smiled from time to time and have said more than just the minimum necessary but otherwise very good experience

Location, comfortable room, good coffee

The location is perfect. Right in the center of everything, from restaurants, shops to walking down to the pier. Every street is just magnificent. Very close to the bus stops, Olbia Terranova train station & the airport (just take bus 2, 10, or 601). It's good to stay for no more than 2 days, then if you want to do boat excursions around Sardinia, I recommend staying in Palau but near the port because all the excursions start from there. I was amazed by this island. It's a must-visit place! ???❤️

Breakfast was very filling and plenty of it. You could eat in the dining room or go outside to the patio. Location was excellent as we could walk everywhere to bus/ train , cafe's , shops etc. Staff were very helpful with directions and transport information Our beds very small in width for a single bed . Had to be careful when you rolled over that you didn't roll out of bed!! Shower was also very narrow. You had to step in sideways, as the glass doors had a narrow entry. Never mind " dropping the soap" ....you have no chance to pick it up. Need to step outside the shower to bend down to retrieve it !!! Door archive on bathroom door came off in our hands, when closing the bathroom door.Bathroom sink release plug not in working order. All of these faults were reported to the front desk...." we will send someone up to repair them "...nothing happened!

The room was very confortable and the bed also.

The central location is perfect. Staff were extremly helpful, very good people. Although the AC didnt work properly, immediately they changed rooms. Perfect customer care It was a bit expensive for the hotel itself but I booked very late I blame on it.

The location and the private parking were very convenient. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants around the hotel. The room was slightly dated. The breakfast was mostly cakes and biscuits.
