We liked the honesty of the flyer we were handed at Check In which reads: "An unforgettable Orlando vacation starts right here at the only Ramada Plaza Resort & Suites on I-Drive." And, indeed, it was TRULY unforgettable. This was one of the worst hotels we have ever had the displeasure of checking in to in the I-Drive Corridor. I say "checking in", because we left the property within two hours. For starters the hallways are all exterior corridors fully exposed to the elements. A torrential downpour and 60 mph winds don't help when you are trying to lug the baggage cart to your room. We got to the room and it was poorly lit and burning up with only a small Koldfront brand Through-The-Wall air conditioner to cool the space. We cranked it down to the lowest setting, 64, but it did not make a difference with the Florida heat and humidity. We actually stood outside in the exterior corridor, because it was cooler there than inside the stifling room. Next, I turn on the TV and none of the cable channels worked and neither did any of the streaming apps like YouTube, because the WiFi did not work. I have a screenshot of the TV and my laptop connected to the WiFi (Ramada_Guest) showing that neither worked. I made several calls downstairs to the Front Desk and the rude male employee said he would send Maintenance up to check on things. An hour later, a courteous Maintenance guy arrived and was apologetic but was unable to fix anything. He could not fix the WiFi and didn't know how to make the TV channels or streaming services work, because he said they had just updated to a new system. As for the AC, he cautioned me not to switch rooms, because I might end up with a room with one of the "older" AC units. I told him not to worry, because we weren't switching rooms, we were leaving. We lugged our bags through the soaked hallways and elevator and back to the lobby. The same rude Front Desk employee told us that the hotel's policy was not to issue any refunds. Fortunately Booking.com refunded 3 of the 4 nights of our planned stay, so 5 stars to Booking.com for honesty.

Very good

Nothing I didn’t like that management was rude and made it hard to cancel reservations, I didn’t like that nothing on the rooms were renovated

Nos hemos hospedado aquí varias veces y sigue siendo nuestra opción fija en International Drive. Ubicación inmejorable: A apenas 5 minutos de Universal Studios e Islands of Adventure. Comida y servicios: Variedad de restaurantes a poca distancia a pie. Servicio: Personal atento y amable en todo momento. Desayuno: Cortesía sencilla pero bastante buena y práctica antes de salir.

Room had a mini kitchen, great view to the lake

Great option if you’re visiting the parks! We arrived around 8 p.m. after a long flight, picking up the rental car and driving for 1.5 hours, so the super quick check-in was honestly a lifesaver ✈️ The location is very convenient and the free shuttle to and from the parks is a huge plus, especially after a full day of walking and roller coasters! The staff we met around the hotel at night were lovely and friendly ❤️. Reception, though… let’s just say they weren’t exactly overflowing with enthusiasm Overall, a practical and convenient stay for a theme-park trip. We’d stay again! Breakfast was probably the weakest point. If you’re used to a Mediterranean diet, prepare yourself: very heavy and calorie-loaded options and not much that feels fresh or light

Closeness to park Old run down , probably not in a best location. 2 km up the road the hotels looked nicer and the streets were safer and cleaner

I really liked the location. It was close to a lot of the then parks etc Nothing. The value you get from what you pay is exceptional

Everything was very clean and staff extremely helpful. AC unit in room was unfortunately very loud but an older style unit. For myself there was a lack of choice at breakfast as I have coeliac disease so need gluten free options- I did get fruit but no cereal or choice of bread. Would definetly stay again and recommend to friends.

Location was the best part Cleaning room service every 3 days, 2 elevators one of which had issues (almost got locked in), breakfast buffet area was tiny and had to wait 30min in line to be able to get anything from the buffet

The breakfast was poor quality and the staff were very rude.

Excellent and cost effective hotel with amazing views. Everything

Comfortable bed View No resort fee. And maybe that’s how they get you. I’d rather pay a resort fee if that meant getting my money’s worth. Zero stars! Never again

Great location . Nice rooms . Breakfast was good The pay at reception limited bar was a bit poor. Also hated watching greedy diners stuff loaves of bread and fruit into their bags to save a few pounds at the parks . They would save money by having staff there stopping this .
