Chateau Mar Beach Resort

I enjoyed a night in a nice clean newly renovated beach front room. Looking forward to next time!

The location is perfect. Close to food, groceries stores and shops Everything was perfect

Could not get keys to wirk. Had to move twice to room. Locks need changed in everyone. Staff was very nice though!

Nothing They were dirty and bed bugs were biting me..

The beach was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable, front desk was very friendly It would have been nice to have a light breakfast offered, the patio and outside floors needed painting

Right on the beach, room was comfortable, spacious, and clean for the most part. Looking forward to the updates in the future for next stay.

Great quiet place

& welcoming. Very Affordable beachfront property Bare bones amenities,( has the necessities ) have to ask front desk if you need any extras room was clean, bathroom is updated, has a refrigerator, microwave bed / mattress was soft all beach view rooms, Affordable beachfront property ( right on the beach) & has a pool Each room has plastic patio table & chairs in front of the door, can use updated furniture & also by the pool.

This is our second year in a row going there. The rooms have been upgraded with new furniture and the place is clean. There are nice chairs to sit on the balcony and look at the ocean. It’s nice that all the rooms are ocean view. We would definitely come again

So upon getting there, you can tell that the floor was not even mopped. There was hair on the toilet seat. There was hair on the shower walls when you look under the ledge, where the shower is there’s mold got a towel to use to wash my body and there was black and red makeup on it overall it looks nothing like the pictures so don’t expect it to be polished and clean. There was a moisture remover container in the room. Part of the wall was coming off. The list goes on and on, I would spend more money and not ever go to this place. I didn’t even stay the full night. I left after staying at the beach for I don’t know maybe four or five hours I did not feel comfortable sleeping there. I just knew that the bed would not be clean.

Location great view of the oceean. It was disgusting. The bathroom counter was filthy. Alot of construction stuff (white )left on counter, floors, walls. The tiles on the floor of the bathroom stained with something white. The bathroom looked not finished! There were holes between the tiles! Floors dirty. Some of the towels looked dirty not white! No light on the outside hallway going toward the rooms. The battery of the fire alarm was constantly ringing. ANNOYING UNABLE TO SLEEP WELL! The deck for the pool and seating area was filthy and needs alot of repair!! We understood it was a refurbished hotel but it was terrible. Whoever they are using to make the repairs and changes is terrible. WOUKD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! The only nice thing is the view!

Loved the location, the rooms where amazing, kitchen and everything looks nice. The exterior needs a good paint, the AC units looks bad in the exterior but the rooms where cold and nice.

Beachfront! We've been staying here for years. Large, very clean & comfortable rooms with view of beach

The staff was super helpful and even gave us her personal fan to use! The location is perfect. Everything we needed was in walking distance. I couldn’t ask for more!!! We will return and I have already recommended this place to several people!

Location, it was clean and quiet. Not enough parking, was absolutely NOT a resort. This is a mid grade hotel that only offers a swimming pool and beach front access. Housekeeping only came to the room once in our 9 day stay and we had to request that. We had to have our room keys reprogrammed multiple times and got locked into our room once and housekeeping came to open the door. She did not speak English and it took a second call to the desk to get maintenance to come fix the door.

Exceptional

The room was clean and had some updated/new furnishings and direct beach location was awesome. Linens felt fresh and clean and kitchenette was well stocked pots, pans, plates, etc., hot water and pressure in shower was good. Plenty of parking. Slider to balcony was dirty as well as tracks making it difficult to open. Balcony and stairways need a good power wash and coat of paint. Bones of the room needed attention: water stains on ceiling, grouting in shower, etc.
