Breakfast was not an option which is confusing considering it is called a B&B. Location was wonderful. Because there was a heat wave, air conditioning would have been nice.
-
Didn't realize breakfast was not included. Hostess gave us recommendation for where to find a reasonable breakfast instead.

Convenient location in the historic center, good communication with the host. Because of a problem with our original assigned room, we weee in a comfortable apartment instead. Francesca made sure we were taken care of and that we had transportation back to the train station. The bathroom was down a few steep stairs, not a problem for us but it would be a challenge for anyone with limited mobility.

It’s a beautiful vintage property perfectly preserved but with modern amenities. Francesca the hostess is wonderful and makes you feel like family. She will even back your car down the narrow cobblestone street if necessary and take you to the parking garage. This was the perfect place to stay in beautiful Orvieto. I hope to go back and stay longer some day. There’s nothing I didn’t like about B&B Michelangelo, it’s an absolute dream.

We loved our stay here! Francesca was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious and beautiful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location is great– close to everything, but tucked away on a private street, so it was peaceful and quiet. The spiral staircases were really cool, but the bedroom is at the top of them, so be aware of that if you have mobility issues. Overall, everything was great, and I highly recommend staying here. We just wish we could have stayed longer! It got a little chilly in the evening on the lower floor, but up in the bedroom it was fine.

Good location Was unaware we would have to go down cold concrete stairs to our bathroom

Perfect stay in Orvieto. Francesca was incredibly kind—greeting me at the door, recommending a wonderful trattoria, and arranging a car for my early train; the accommodations and decor were beautiful, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Loved everything! I will be back. Loved everything.

The location. I felt safe. Francesca was amazing! Felt right at home. The Booking site makes it confusing on what apartment you are booking.

Well, we enjoyed the perfect two cup Italian coffee maker in our room with our own breakfast. Perfetto!
-
The location was a very quiet side street, within easy walking distance from everything. The hosts were absolutely lovely, friendly, and eager to assist. Parking is always an issue in Orvieto because you have to park at the bottom of the cliff and take the escalator or elevator up to the old city, which can be a lot when you have luggage. There just isn't much you can do about it. However, the hosts had us park in the *much* less expensive portion of the garage so it was very reasonably priced.

Amazing location and the best host!

Excellent location and amazing hosts.

Centrally located in Orvieto. Short walk to duomo. Rustic, like staying in a guest house from years gone by.

This was something out of a fairytale. My wife was extremely pleased with this place. She thought we were in a disney movie. The apartment is immaculate, it has a kitchen, the bathrooms were super clean, the shower had good hot water. More importantly the apartment is in a very quiet place. It is big and can hold more than the two of us. It was one of the most personal places we stayed it had family pictures out and was decorated like something out of a movie. It is within walking distance of everything in town. My wife loved Orvieto and I did as well. I wish we had stayed longer. Francesca the host called us everyday to make sure everything was good. She was so sweet and extremely pleasant to deal with. Next time we go to Italy we are planning on going back. A must stay for anyone thinking of going to Orvieto.
