Baymont by Wyndham Osage Beach

Starting off on a positive note, the staff was incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly. No issues with anyone I encountered. Unfortunately, there were plenty of negatives. The room itself was gross. We could clearly tell that whoever is in charge of cleaning does the bare minimum. Grime everywhere. Toilets lined with grime, shower was pretty bad, too. The sheets, towels, chairs were stained. No real fitted sheets on the beds. The TV kept getting unprogrammed if we touched the wrong button on the remote. The 2nd queen bed in our room was broken and unusable (but we didn't need it). Towels were thin and small. Toilet paper was the cheapest possible. Over all, I wouldn't stay there again unless some major changes were put into place.

The place is for sale, with a huge sign out front in the poorly maintained driveway. Once you get into the building, you notice right away it needs a lot of TLC. Entering the room, it smells musty and hasn’t been updated since the early 00’s. The bedding was stained and the floors weren’t vacuumed. Once I took a shower, I found puke dried on the trash can by the toilet and used wash clothes hanging on top of the shower Rod. The drain systems were awful, I have pictures of the tub filling up just while taking a shower. Overall a bad experience, wouldn’t recommend staying here until they’re sold.

My door to the hotel room would not lock unless I slammed it shut and couple of times. During my relaxing hours the entire reason I picked this hotel was completely ruined because the hot tub and sauna did not work and since I was there for a few days and seen they had a washer and dryer on sight I packed lightly and rewear what was needed however that did not work too The morning I was leaving, breakfast was over an hour late and when I tried to check out I was told something in the Arabic language, pretty sure he was taking a break because he put pointed at the couch and put his phone on speaker as he walked over and sat there causing me to have a late check out. Clearly looking at me I am not Arabic and had no idea what was being said and they had no idea what I even tried to say as I checked out so I put my entry cards on the counter and said my room number and walked out.

We stayed here after a long 10 hour drive. The front desk gentleman was friendly, and we headed to our room. The hallway carpet to the rooms has definitely seen better days, but we figured let’s check it out. Once getting to the room, we were met with an overbearing smell of damp/musty yuck after pushing open a door that was stuck. The beds however were clean to sleep on,, so we stayed after spraying everything down with our deodorizing spray. Quick change of clothes, and we headed to the pool. The area was bit of a hot mess, no clean towels, trash left out, and signs slipping off the wall. The hot tub didn’t have a working jet, but enjoyable for a soak. My husband did enjoy the sauna, and the kids (14 and under) enjoyed the pool. I straightened up the area a bit while drying off, and we headed back to the room shortly before 10pm. The hot water took forever to turn hot in the shower, and the faucets looked like they needed a good scrub. Beds were a bit too firm for my liking, but we make them work. Just glad I brought my own blanket because it was chilly with the AC running all night ( if we turning it off it was hot and musty). The breakfast looked decent, we didn’t try any because we were up early and just decided to head out. I don’t think I’d stay again, unless they did some revamping, but for one night it’ll do in a pinch. The saving grace was the staff, they were friendly, and welcoming.

The hotel was two separate buildings. One was a bit cleaner than the other. The room smelled and we were afraid of bugs

Pictures made it look better then it was. Found trash on the floor and a couple bugs in the bed sink was cracked and the outside pools bottom is falling apart

We have stayed in this hotel for the past 5 years when we visited It is terribly run down we had to change rooms twice and the 3rd room was okay but not as good as in the past it needing a good cleaning and we finally found a room with a working TV with as rundown as it was I didn't want to chance eating breakfast the next morning It has really went down since a year ago we won't be staying there again

Very gross, breakfast was terrible. Rooms and beds was gross. The mattress felt like it was iver 50 years old. Pools and property in horrible shape

The entire building smells musty, our room smelled like damp stale cigarettes even though they emphasized a Non - smoking room. Every other light worked, there were not mattress covers. The bedding and sheets had dried blood stains. The carpets and bathroom tiles were sticky. As if they had not been cleaned in years. The towels are thin, bring your own. We did not even chance the breakfast we ate out. We did not use the pool or hot tub so we have no experience with those amenities. The whole place is run down, the pictures they do show on Expedia and their site are very outdated. Perhaps this had been a nice hotel back in the day. It has seen better years. Spend a little extra and stay some where else.

We have been staying at this hotel once a year for about 7 years now and it’s never been this dirty or run down. The lobby smelled like something rotting. The lobby floor was filthy. The bed was broken in our first room. Second room was probably 90 degrees, air conditioner froze over. Third room was ok. Other people in our party also had to switch to 3 rooms because the tv didn’t work in the first two. Definitely will not be staying here again.

Noise room right next to the boiler room. Banging Noise coming from the boiler room all night. I complained to the staff and they didn't care. Dirty dimly lit room.
