This location is great for enjoying Dotonbori and surrounding areas. The rooms are quite, a little small, but very adequate. The bed was cofortable and the air-conditioning was stellar! Loved that there was a safe and a refridgerator too. The rooms are small but it is worth it to be in a great location. Walk out the door and you are there!

The room size was generous, bath/shower room was fantastic, toto toilet was wonderful, and the bed was comfortable The tourist in this location were generally rude compared to Tokyo. The streets were also dirty. The hotel was excellent though and the location was convenient.

Location is the best in Dotonbori, literally unlimited water to rehydrate and good coffee and choco drink at lobby. Very good lounge. Obviously understaffed especially the cleaning/housekeeping. Lounge opens at 3pm is a big bummer

Location is great if you like shopping and nightlife. Decor was not really my taste.

We've stayed at the Cross before and while the prices are starting to creep up, you can't beat it for comfort, location and connections. We find the rooms quite large by Japanese standards and the beds comfortable (also a challenge in Japan). The bathroom /wet room is excellent - the best we've had in Japan. There is a microwave on every other floor as well as vending and ice machines. Good coffee in the room too. The restaurant was being renovated when we visited but there's plenty of places to eat nearby. We can catch the train straight from Kansai to Namba Stn which is perfect after a 9 hour flight and then its just a short walk from the hotel. It's a block away from Dotonbori and the izakaya in American Village. I know we will stay again the next time we come. It can get a bit noisy on Fri/Sat night as the boy racers come out to show off but the soundproofing is good and it's all quiet by midnight. It is after all, in one of Osaka's biggest entertainment precincts.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the club lounge access. Fantastic breakfast, great variety including western choices. Ony 1 lift working due to renovation work on building.
