Great location to Shinsaibashi shops and Dotonburi Too dark in room. Very black in rooms

The reception area was beautiful and photo worthy! The elevators and decor throughout were artistic. Our room didn’t have functioning AC. They “upgraded” our room to one that ended up not having AC on when we entered and was very hot as it was mid-July. We figured the AC just needed to be turned on and did so. It seemed as if it was working for a bit but just after falling asleep, we woke up sweating and realized it was definitely not working. Having already unpacked and it being like 1 am, it was extremely inconvenient to have to wake up, repack, try to get another room, and unpack, especially since we were leaving in the morning. The hallway was much cooler than our room even. If you notice any issues with the AC here, recommend requesting a new room immediately.

The darkness of the corridors and the room.

We liked he staff, the vibe, location, the washer in room, slippers, Pj's. I feel like brighter light could be added by the sink area. A bathroom hook for towel would be very useful. Overall, great stay, great hotel, would come back again. It would be a nice touch if you guys had Eki stamps for your guests when they check in. I would have loved that to add to my stamp book. Thank you for a great stay! We are going to another Tokyu stay property in Nihambashi Tokyo! Please add brighter lighting by the sink.

Excelent location, close to major spotlights, transportation and restaurants! All this while remaining hidden from the main streets noise. N/A

Perfect location Rooms are too small and dark

A fabulous hotel with a boutique feel, artsy decor, and a stunning lobby. Located on a quiet side street just off the main thoroughfare with Dotonbori, 7-11, restaurants, shopping, and the train station close by. Extremely convenient having an all-in one washing machine/dryer in the hotel room with laundry detergent provided. Impressed by the exceptional customer service. The front desk staff took the time to personally show us how to use the washing machine and communicated on the phone with a third party on our behalf regarding an important issue.

Especially liked having a washer/dryer in the room! Room was spacious, location was amazing, staff were wonderful! Nothing.

The location is good. The cleanliness is the usual superb Japanese quality. There was a washing machine and a microwave in our room. The front desk officer mixed up the keycard issued to our group(We have booked 3 rooms). They keycard automatically selects the correct floor level for you when you tap it on the elevator. Most of us went up in the wrong floor due to wrong issuance of keycard. This was super hassle on our part given that we got our luggages on that floor already. We had to go back to the front desk to let them know the situation. We were finally issued the correct keycards. However, we are a family of 4 with 2 small children. We have 5 large luggages, 3 carry on, and 2 strollers. The property was not able to provide someone to help us get our luggages to our room. There was a small trolley outside the elevator good for 2 luggages only. The luggage must be placed upright on the trolley or else it will surely not fit on the elevator door. Another thing I did not like was the poor lighting on the hallway.

Staff are very kind and helpful. However, during weekend it can be noisy from motor bikes, sport cars and rescue sirens. And during morning there are strange knocking noises. The room lighting is not sufficient. No much room to unpack your clothes. The staff are friendly, however, we asked for a 30 min late check out, and we were denied, not like a peak season, I guess it is because of availability.

Staff were super helpful, they helped with storing my luggage multiple times before and during our arrival. The room was a decent size, we still had enough space even with the addition of a baby cot. The in room washing machine was the main reason we chose to stay here and it was definitely much needed when travelling with an infant, and I love that detergent was provided too. Location is great, walking distance to dotonburi, JR Namba and a couple of other metro station. There is also a direct train to Kansai Airport. Definitely will considering staying here again if we're back in Osaka!

An excellent location for the food and events we'd planned around Osaka. I loved having a combo laundry washer/dryer in the room, there was provided detergent and it worked well for our clothes without overheating or damaging them. Some reviews include the lighting as a negative, but for our use as a couple traveling by ourselves we found it calming and welcoming. There is a floor lamp and a battery powered two-sided make-up mirror in the room for added task lighting. Maybe not ideal for families with little ones, but for us it was a nice touch of style. The breakfast was fantastic with a variety of western and Japanese style options. I'm a pastry and baking enthusiast and still think about the in-house croissants. I'm not saying choose here for that alone, but I'm not sure I'd risk it for future visits. The staff clears tables in the food service area quickly, but it's very popular and I would recommend going earlier than the hour before service stops. The mattress was more comfortable than most we've used in Japan, but still on the firmer side compared with the typical American or European hotels. We use a softer mattress at home and were comfortable without being sore or feeling pressure points. This is very minor, but the room TV activates with room card and plays a long promotional video and then repeating energetic background music on the menu afterward. Music in venues throughout Osaka was interesting and well curated, but after the first day we found this to be a distraction and it became a routine for us to turn the TV off immediately on entry.

Great location, nice rooms, lovely cleaning service, good AC Lobby consistently busy, but well managed

I loved the interior design of the hotel. It was very unique and everyday pieces were turned into art. We also loved the location, which was a short walking distance from many great spots. The bathroom was too dark to accurately do hair and makeup. There was a lighted hand mirror in the bathroom, but it was not enough light. I had to look in the full-length mirror in the bedroom with natural light to see what I really looked like.

The vibe is amazing. Super close to the shopping area and very convenient. The price wasn’t as high as I thought it would be and compare to Tokyo area it is much more affordable.
