Across the street fire started in the restaurant early morning and we are evacuated from the hostel

The location and price were great The inside was ok. I was happy to stay only one night.
-
The staff are accommodating and the place is near the places I want to go. Nothing
-
excellent location, great staff, good facilities My phone fell through the cracks of the bed everynight, so maybe a better area to keep small valuables in our bed area without them risking falling, and washing and dryer were a little problematic

It was just a dated place, it was my first in Japan, however I travel a lot so my rating could be off for Japan.
-
It’s very cheap good for solo traveler like me!!! Very convenient!!! I’ll definitely stay here again next time!

Great location. Close proximity to trains, Dotonbori, and Den Den Town. Size of our room was decent. Heater worked. There weren't any rodents or bugs. Price was fine but for what you get not great. Otherwise really nothing great about this place. Perhaps my perspective is skewed because this was not the first hostel we stayed while in Japan but...The place is falling apart. The floors in the communal space / kitchen area are coming up and feels like you are going to fall through especially near the sink in the kitchen. All furniture is worn down. There is no available staff after 8pm and they close off the front of the building with metal sliding garage door. It just made it feel like the location was in a bad neighborhood and uninviting. There is one washer and dryer for all floors and the dryer is electric so don't even waste your time trying to use it as it just takes your money and doesn't dry your clothes. Go to the coin op laundry just down the street instead. Unlike EVERY OTHER Hostel we stayed in Japan (4 prior to this one and one after) they do not provide you towels (you have to pay 100 yen), toothbrush, toothpaste or anything else. The bedding consists of mat that is approximately an inch thick on top of wood planked bunkbeds. No trashcans in the room. The Free WiFi was inconsistent at best. This was the least friendly staff of any of the places we stayed at. I am not sure who's job it is to empty the trash but it doesn't happen on a regular basis, especially in the communal space in the basement.

Your going about this all wrong. Rate the fellow guests at the establishment and you'll have a better idea of the quality of the stay. Like bee's to a hive, who gets in makes the honey. The place can be sweet as all get out , but , if the fellow travelers give you the creeps, or they spend hours play musical chairs with their gear, or endlessly zippering ( a peculiar Freudian behavior) or even worst spend the entire night farting and snoring both.... well you get the picture

The location was excellent! The staff were nice, they let me put my bag there after i checked out. The room was okay. Idk why the wifi didn’t work on my phone. The toilet needs fixing on my floor, the lid wouldn’t open properly without falling. The room wasn’t soundproof, i could hear someone snoring next door.

- Check in was easy - Locker in bed area - The beds were very slept through, and the comforter without duvet cover was weird - they turn on the heating pretty high every night, to the point it gets too hot to sleep - the separation between the different bunkbeds is bad, you truly need some type of sleeping mask or you’ll get waken up by the light that shines through whenever someone turns on their light

The location, everything is accessible for instance the train stations it is hear at the hostel. The convenient store and other tourist attraction. The other thing that I like is that I was still able to check in even though I came late thru self check in. The reception is open until 8pm. The staff made sure that guest has the information needed for check in. None so far....

Good things dont come cheap. There's nothing to complain for that price
-
the location, fresh air trough the windows in sleeping room, the helpful staff Bugs attacked me in bed
-
I didnt like their bed partitions only covering curtains and its uncomfortable going up and down
-
The location is very well connected since is very close to namba station, dotonbori yebisu bridge, and various places The noise was kinda too much at night time since they left the windows open and the ac turned off (that way it ventilated the room i guess)

Location was great. I spend two nights here. Property owner very kind, polite and helping tendency, he welcomed me without his presence at late evening that was like puzzled. He pasted the instructions as signage notes from entrance doors to till the bed. that was awesome. I couldn't say that I didn't enjoy it. Upon entering the room, I felt someone's socks or socks and something smelling all over the room. It was a bad smell. But when I went to bed, there was no smell and I slept peacefully. The Wi-Fi connection here is set up as a ground connection, so when you go to the next floor, the connection will be lost, so the respective floor will switch to the Wi-Fi connection, but the password remains the same. It was a little inconvenient, but it's okay.

Good location and it’s enough to just stay over night Smelly dormitory as unfortunately

The location is ? perfect. Very near to Dotonbori and nightlife. Cheap, easy to find. Big comfortable spaces. The room, bathroom and kitchen where not that clean. Bathroom always smelled like sewage, but if you are not picky, the location is worth it.
