The hotel is basically a reminder of a past era, the eighties, when life was not yet controlled by computers. The room was small, but sufficient to spend one night. I would recommend the hotel to students who come to Osaka for educational reasons, not to experience a sojourn in a five-star establishment. The breakfast was cheap and quite good for the price. Nothing. For the price, more than acceptable, there is nothing else than cleanliness and quietness to wish for.

Toilet washlet is very old and it is not properly working. Sofa provided is very very old and looks dirty. Breakfast is not Buffet and they provided only A,B,C set breakfast Totally i m not satisfied with stay

The staff was generally excellent helping with recommendations for the area and helping with a delivery I got. The price was great (around $50 CDN per night) and easily one of the cheapest hotels in Osaka. It's in a quieter area and close to a Don Quixote which I appreciated One thing I didn't see in other rooms is that you have to drop off your (physical old school) keys when you leave which is awkward if, like me, you like to rest in the middle of the day and head out for the morning and the afternoon. The rooms are old and have not been renovated since the Showa Era leading to a strange smell as well as cracks and scratches everywhere. The air conditioner simply doesn't work and opening the window just resulted in a mosquito swarm.

The location is near (though not as near as it seems in google maps) to either Metro or JR. Very close to tourist spot like Tsutenkaku or Dotonbori, even Osaka castle or k-town. I like a little bit of walking so these distances are perfect. Quite some konbini nearby. Very quiet neighbourhood. The reception is 24hours, with very friendly staffs. The bathroom 'looks' old, which may tickoff some preferences, but everything works perfectly fine. Considering the price and location, a very effective, no fuss accommodation. Free tea sachets as well! The lighting setup in the room was a bit unique, no main lamp in the ceiling, but enough exposure throughout so not a big problem at all.
