Location was good with an easy walk to Osaka station. Staff was very friendly. The beds were very hard. You never ended up with a room key which I haven't experienced before.

My experience at Hotel Salle de Bain was absolutely terrible. This is not a regular hotel – it felt more like a brothel, with clients openly bringing in escorts. My wife and I felt extremely uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. The reception was rude and insisted on cash payment, even though we had booked through Booking.com with a credit card. The room itself was extremely sketchy, with cameras in plain view, giving the sense that privacy is completely disregarded. The door only locks from the inside, making it impossible to safely leave belongings in the room. We refused to stay under such disturbing conditions, but the hotel refused to refund our payment. This is by far the worst experience I have had in any accommodation. AVOID this place at all costs!

Big bed, big room, bath tub! Smelt like smoke, even though we asked for a non-smoking room. The kind of smell that had seeped in to all the furniture.

Please note that this is a love hotel, not a normal hotel. We were surprised by this fact when we arrived. Would not be a good experience if I had brought a child along.
