Room was clean and more spacious that the common rooms in Japan. Location is a bit further out of the city center but still walkable. No microwave in the building which would be nice.

Modern and clean, convenient location. Staffs were also very kind and helpful. The room is very small but the bed is comfortable.

Very well located. Dotonbori is within a 10 -15 min walk. Lots of things around but quiet at the same time

Affordable central hotel, great , helpful staff

The hotel is a really cute boutique property with a clean, minimalist, chic design. The room was a decent size and felt comfortable. The toilet was 1000/100, and the shower water pressure was absolutely amazing. Everything was very clean throughout the stay. Extra toiletries were available at the reception for guests to grab anytime — a very thoughtful touch. The bathroom was on the smaller side, and the tub was quite compact — tall guests might find it tight. The location was a bit far from the main areas, making the 10–15 minute walk back feel long after a full day of sightseeing. Although there is a nearby metro station, it’s not on the most commonly used lines for major attractions. The reception does close at 9 PM so you should arrive before that but they will still be accessible and check you in afterwards you just have to call them.

Clean and near shopping areas Nothing

Really beautiful room, so cozy, staff were kind and spoke English, reasonably close to a local station

they did not provide yamato service to send luggage, so I had to look for a place to leave them in. luckily there is a yamato office 3 blocks away so it was not very bad, but made me change the plans last minute to accommodate for that.

It's a nice, quiet hotel with some freebies. Towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, pajamas, slippers, & water in the lobby are provided. If you arrive before check-in time, you are allowed to store your luggage, and the key to your room will be provided, but you will not be able to actually enter your room until after 4pm, so just keep that in mind. When you arrive at your room later, your luggage will have been brought to your room and placed neatly inside. There is also an elevator, thank goodness as the hotel has 6 floors. I found the hotel to be quiet, and peaceful at the end of each night. Bed was comfortable, pillows were comfortable, I always fell into a nice deep sleep at the end of a long day. At no point did I run into any other guest, despite the place being fully booked. Only time I saw other guest was the first day I arrived, and they were checking out. Restroom in-room is nice, complete with Bidets and Tub/shower combo. I'm 5'7" and I was ok in the restroom, but if you're any larger or taller, it might be a bit cramped for you because of the way it's configured. I will say it was VERY clean; spotless. And it smelled nice. There is also a really nice restroom in the hotel lobby if you are waiting on assistance there and end up needing to use it. From what I could see, it was very clean and smelled very nice. Also, check-out is easy; you just place the key in the box on the counter downstairs once you're ready to go and that's it. Check-out time is at 11am. The hotel's location is great; less than 4 minutes from the nearest train station enterance; Nagahoribashi is the absolute closest, and there are a couple others nearby that are maybe a 9 min walk away. There are several convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and Dotonbori is only about 9 minutes away on foot. Not a fan of the seemingly strict, after 4pm check-in policy. After a long day or long flight, would have been nice to be allowed early check-in, even if for a small fee. I arrived to the hotel at 9am and was quite exhausted, but was forced to still stay out and kill time because of how late the check-in is. Would be nice if check-in were at least at noon or 1pm instead, or if optional early check-in were offered. After 9pm, no staff is available, so if you are out past 9pm, make sure you jot down the code to the main door of the building so that you can still get in and get to your room. I also am not a fan of the super early check-out when combined with the late check-in. 11am is definitely early. Check out should be by 12 noon or 1pm to make up for the late check-in time.

    nothing.

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

Convenient location for the JR rail and good walking distance to Dotonburi Bathroom was a little cramped

  • Engine customer Sep 2025

for 2 people quite small, esp bathroom, was hitting all the time.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

The bed was comfortable enough. The room smelled very moldy. There was actual mold in the bathroom and the shower curtain was dirty and cheap, like they got it from a 100 yen shop. This was one of the more expensive hotels that I stayed at on my trip, and I was so grossed out by the moldy smell in the bathroom that I left as early as I could in the morning. Extremely disappointed with this hotel.

  • Engine customer Jul 2025

The location is really good, great connection to public transport and very good walkable surroundings offering a lot of great restaurants and bars. The rooms are small but well designed and have everything you need

  • Engine customer Jul 2025

Very nice updated spot in the heart of osaka. Quiet area, even though the room was the smallest (which is to be expected for japan), it was the most comfortable and organized layout we had yet. There was plenty of room and built ins to utilize for our things. Lovely staff as well.
