Tabist Sakuragawa River Side Hotel

Perfect location + family friendly Great location — walking distance to Dotonbori, American Village, and shopping, but the hotel's street itself is quiet and easy to get to. Several excellent izakayas and cafes right outside the door. Sleeping arrangements were great with plenty of room for the family to sleep comfortably. We were also grateful for the in-room washer — huge help with kids. Front desk staff was accommodating and helpful with our luggage, which we transferred from a previous hotel, and with arranging transportation to the airport. Would definitely stay again. No stove in the room. I may have missed that in the fine print, but we had planned to cook a few meals, especially on early start days. We made do with items from the conbini around the corner. I also missed having an in-room dryer. Not a big deal since there’s a laundromat 3 minutes away, but it would have been great. Still a solid stay overall. Would consider booking again.

Closer and more convenient to where we need to go N/A

This is more of an Appartment/ AirBnB style place, there is self-check in an no front desk, which is different from what I expected but was not a big problem as we did not need assistance. Quite noisy, but I think this is everywhere in this neighborhood.

Close to the actions, great space, has everything needed for comfortable stay.

Room was very clean and more modernized. The layout is a bit confusing but usable. We came in early to drop off our luggage and the staff were accommodating to move the bags to our room once our room was ready. Beds were slightly a bit stiff but good enough. Also came with a balcony view but we did not get to use it much since it was raining for most of the time we were there. Close enough to dotonbori that its a short walk to get there but far enough that the noise from dotonbori won't disturb sleep. Location is a bit far from any neighboring train stations so it will be a bit of a walk to reach from the nearby train station. There are no facilities in the hotel so have to go to the nearby laundromat to do laundry.

Very close to dontiboro and easy walk to the station I never saw anyone at the office even during working hours. The room was never cleaned. I resorted to messaging for new linens with no response.

Hotel was in very good location close to everything. I wish staff would speak English hard to comunicate the Ladies working there. Other then that everything great, location , room size, comfortable and clean. All was great

The staff was exceptional, they helped us and was extremely friendly, the staff brought my handicap daughter a shower seat without us even asking highly recommend this hotel

Property was huge and so clean. Staff was amazing and so friendly. We had a mixup in our booking and they were very accommodating We couldn’t get the WiFi took but we didn’t bother to bug them about it a second time because they had already went above and beyond for us.

This hotel was in a great location, just down the street from Namba Hatch. The rooms are very generously sized with everything you could need and if you still need something there convenient stores nearby.

Good location within walking distance to train station and Dontonbori.

Its really close to everything just walking distance to the shopping area and dotonbori , the river view is a really nice addition

Great location, less than 5 minute walk to the closest metro station. Great view of the water. All basic toiletries are provided. Provides luggage storage during their staff working hours 11am to 6pm. I got the 1 king and 3 twin bed room and it’s comfortable for a family of 4 (adults and teenagers). No clothing dryer. Wish the staff working hour starts at 10am.

We got the Family Room, which was more than enough space for the 3 of us. There were also lots of amenities provided, including the washer/dryer. Nice view of the Dotonbori River, but not too close that it was noisy. Within easy walking distance to numerous train stations.

Fantastic location. Large room for our family with 4 kids (including 2 infants).

Great spot close enough to Dotonbori to walk easily and enjoy the highlights of Osaka, but also just off the beaten track a little bit to get some quiet time. We loved the location right on the river with full windows overlooking this lovely spot. With luggage and walking, the hotel is a bit further from the main train station than I thought, so just be prepared for a 10 minute walk.
