This is a small dislike but the hot bath on our balcony had a smell. It’s totally understandable since it is outdoors and I was still able to enjoy it.

Modern, neat and tidy. Has a nice vibe. Friendly staff and lots of goodies like free beer. Bed was very small (narrow) and uncomfortable. Can’t speak for all rooms and all beds but our experience was not great.

Came and got a room with a very high bed that is particularly dangerous to sleep on. I did reserve the room but as this is nothing but a standard room, unless you are aware pf tjos option yoi cant know what to expect. Tjisbis npt standard anywhere else and thus has to be clearly explained on the site. I was then told that there is onlya larger room adn I will have to upgrade and pay. I refused. After some back and forth, the hotel kindly upgraded at no cost. Male sure to clearly explain. Looking at the exoression of some of the hotel staff it was clear that this is not the first time. Thanks

In our more recent stay breakfast was very poor. Selection was a bit limited but was ok, but the food itself was not fresh. We can't remember what breakfast was like in the past stays but we don't remember any previous issues so not sure if something has changed in the last ~2 years

We enjoyed our stay very much. The only negative was dim lighting in the bathroom!

Great stay at The Lively Osaka Honmachi. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very comfortable. Rooms are clean and quiet, and the location is excellent for exploring Osaka. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the lobby bar and common areas give the hotel a really cool vibe. A perfect base for Osaka. A bit small room but aceptable

Didnt have access to the rooftop bar in 3 days due to events every single night. A bit dissapointing

beautiful property and conveniently located next to a station. i really like their common area opened 24/7 with substantial free coffee and tea, several times we came back late from a night out or i needed to do some work during off hours. great community event hosted through happy hour every night

Was not in a super touristy area so you need to take a train at least 20-30min to get to any of the attractions in Osaka.

The location near the semba building meant good shopping and a transport hub. Beds were comfortable, and everything had been anticipated. Like a dream :) price was great too. If there had been a plain rice or plain vegetarian option on the late night menu without having to bother anyone I would have ordered it every night I was there but it wasn't a big deal, the 7-11 was right next door. Honestly everything was amazing.

Super funky and cool place to stay. You never know what you’re walking into each day, sometimes a mixer other times a quiet night in. But the best part: once you are in your room, it’s quiet and relaxing.

I love the design and overall vibe of this hotel. The only “negative” I could say would be the lighting in the bathroom was a little weird and my GF said it made it Hard to get ready.
