Hotel Trend NishiShinsaibashi

I like that it was near by dontonbori and American village (I believe that’s why it’s called ). It was also next to a family mart and also had a cafe down stairs although it’s lobby is not as big as an average hotel it was very nice and the rooms were spacious than usual Japan hotels I’ve been in. I wish I stayed longer.

The location of the hotel is amazing, right near dotonbori with very easy access to the city. Additionally the staff were really nice and very helpful, they also spoke enough English that together we could communicate. The rooms were clean and functional. I think the rooms/facilities are a little expensive (I paid about 110/night) for what you get, however that may be due to it being in a convenient location/the time of year that I visited. They were by no means uncomfortable, just small, and maybe a touch overpriced. For a lower price I'd have no issue.

The room had an automatic sensor that you could not turn off, which greatly impacted my sleep, and which the staff were unable to turn off. I had to resort to covering the sensor with a packet in order to get the light to turn off to get some sleep, which when I was travelling was somewhat annoying.

The staff was very friendly, some spoke very good English and those who did not were proficient with translation apps to help out perfectly! They accommodated a large ask of forwarding an excessive amount of luggage which was very appreciated

Room is slightly cramped but acceptable given the price. Anyway, you are going to be spending most of your time out exploring the city.

The location of the property to Dotonbori Street and food. the beds were comfortable Room 702... super dusty walls.... take the wall duster and wipe them down The annoying light that kept going on everytime there was a small movement in our bed the weird bathrooms and the step down from the bathroom

Location, friendly stuff Feels like small cave , small elevator, small corridor. Tiny checking area . Our room window is a few feet to next building . No breakfast.

In the hip area of Osaka Easily can be missed

There was no breakfast in the hotel. I wish there was a map showing the different destinations in the city and how to get there.

Location is good. Facilities functional and clean. Room too small for 2 persons. Policy of checkout time at 10am is too rigid. I requested for 1030 and the staff responded with Y500.

It was convenient going to places The aircon was not working, it was hot all the time, the duvet was boiling hot, the sensor light was very sensitive and trigger with every small movement, we needed to block the sensor to get a good night sleep
