R Hotel Namba Daikokucho

種類豊富なお茶・珈琲や、ちゃんと効く冷蔵庫、上品ともいうべきケットルが好き。居間に集中してほかの部分を削減する部屋のデザインも合理的。テレビの下のソファが役に立つ。 チェックアウトの時間が遅くて有難い。周辺ごく近くにコンビニもおいしい店も多くて出張にも旅行にも憩いの場としてふさわしい。 窓が開けない見えないのは小さい部屋にして多少狭苦しく感じられます。ホテルに全くロビーたる空間が無いのは、正しいデザインでしょうけど快適ではないのも本音ですね…外のまちにも店は多いが休む・回るべき場所は無いから忙しい出張にしても制限が感じられます。

The space was clean and was convineint I did not like no laundry services it really was disruptive.

The property is located just steps away from the Daikokucho subway station, which was extremely convenient. It was well-kept and clean, and staff was very helpful!

The location is absolutely fantastic and super convenient. Having a metro station right outside the hotel made getting around the city incredibly easy. There are also tons of great options for food just steps away from the property. The room was disappointing because it wasn't clean and had a noticeable smell. There was a gap between the bed and the wall that clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and the bathroom wasn’t up to standard either. Additionally, the curtains in the room wouldn't open at all, leaving the space completely dark. If the room had been clean, this would have been a great stay, but the lack of hygiene really let it down.

Great value for money in a comfortable and clean space within walking distance of Dotonbori but far enough away to be quiet.

- locations: walking distance to namba and the metro station in front of the hotel - cleanliness: absolutely amazing and smelled so good, we were impressed with the room - room: great shower and a comfortable hotel room size compared to the normal japanese standard - staff: kind and helpful, they stored our backpacks before check-in - there are multiple R hotels in Osaka, so make sure you are going to the right address. of course, this was our fault, after many days of travel and logistics, we ended up at the wrong location and had to get a taxi to arrive at the right one. - no window to open in the room, a bit strange

great location, subway literally few steps from the hotel, easy access, well connected, lots of shops around, friendly, kind and helpful receptionists, smoking area outside in the alley, very convenient no access to fresh air - we could not open the windows, for 1-2 nigts okayish, however we stayed 3 nights and only with air conditioning was uncomfortable to stay in the room. also the air conditioning is not the newest which per se is understandable but we were dependant on it (otherwise it was too hot in the room) and we could not let it run through the night because it was too noisy. the room is not big so in case you are planning to have big luggage with you it could be a bit complicated.

Nice place to stay to get your bearings in the city. Be careful as there are multiple R Hotels. Don't go to the wrong one!

The space was fair. The location is fantastic, the train station is directly in front of the property, so easy to access to the whole city. Lots of nearby restaurants and a short walk to shopping around Dotonbori (which is awesome if not a bit dense with tourists). No place to put bags or clothes. Really tiny room that was tight for two people. When we got back to the room after a day out (after 10pm), the space smelled HORRIBLE. Turns out the drain in the shower had something backed up in it and it wasn't cleaned properly. We ended up having to open the window (even though there was signage not to open the window). When we told the front desk the next morning, they were apologetic, so we thought they'd take care of the problem. When we got back (again late enough at night that the cleaning staff had gone home) the smell was lessened but still there. I have to say from a service standpoint this was not so great of a hotel. There were no issues with my son's room, which was directly adjacent to mine. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The most uncomfortable bed ever in the tiniest room ever. At first, I thought everything would be okay because the room is small, but it seemed well organized. But after a couple of nights, my back was hurting. The bed is definitely too small for 2 people and is just so uncomfortable. There is also no air in the room, and you are not supposed to open the windows. The air conditioning barely works. It is affordable, but the 3 days that I spent there were bad. I wish I had spent more and stayed elsewhere.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made the whole experience very comfortable and relaxing. The room was spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with all the facilities you could need. I especially appreciated the little touches like complimentary green tea and coffee—it made the stay feel even more welcoming and peaceful. The atmosphere of the hotel was calm and quiet, perfect for resting after a long day. What truly stood out was the staff—they were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Nothing

Excellent location. Good sizes room clean and even had coffee in the room. Highly recommended

Arriving at night. It's hard to find the hotel front is hardly noticeable. Also the Ac/heater stopped working in the middle of the night. The room got hot and stuffy.

They were able to hold my luggage before check in and after checking out. This really helped me out since I didn’t want to lug my baggage around Namba. Train station is right outside the hotel, has all the basic beasties like shampoo, conditioner, towels. AC works great as well
