Dotonbori Hotel

the room that was given to me so tiny for a family of four.

Staff was friendly and helpful, location was good and many things to do around

Lovely staff, good location, clean rooms.

The staff were taking good care of all the guests, not too common nowadays. They were polite, made the free kimono experience, ice cream drinks a joyous one for guests. The pillows can be improved, but overall it’s great. There’s washing machines and dryers, ice maker… ultra close to Dotonbori sights, close enough to Namba station and Shinsekai.

The location was great. There were a couple massage chairs in the lobby for guest use. The hotel smelled musty and everything is old. There was a huge pole in the middle of our room (36” in diameter). The free lobby snacks are not 24 hours, there is a very limited time to go down then they close it off. The bathroom in my RV is bigger than the room bathroom (but it does have the same door lol)

The hotel is a stone's throw away from Osaka's main street food hub (Dotonbori Street). So lots of food and activity options around. Plus, the hotel serves free alcohol, ice cream and cup noodles for a few hours each day! The hotel building is old and has a sewage plumbing issue. There was a foul smell in our room all the time which won't go away even after continuously running the AC. Also there was no exhaust inside the tiny bathroom, which made it very stuffy after a few uses.

Location was fantastic. Room was tiny for three beds, there was no room to open our suitcases. The room was clean. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were great :) The size of the room for three beds and the trundle bed was horribly uncomfortable.

Breakfast was great! The staff was helpful and responsive to guest needs. N/A There wasn't anything I didn't enjoy.

Very near Dotonburi area and little restaurants massage and karaoke None

The location was perfect. Walking distance to the center of Dotonbori, and Namba City Park as well as Namba Station are also within walking distance. The drink machine in the lobby was great. The various daily activities at the lobby were also wonderful. Our kid loved them. The room was very small. We had to play a game of Tetris to access our suitcases. The bathroom was even smaller. Also - it was pretty noisy given its location, as well as the fact that the next door building was undergoing some major construction.

Laundry room, drier machine took a long time to dry clothes.

Location Rooms are small

Everything was clean and nice. Perfect location, free drinks from 3 to 9, massage chairs, nice lobby, etc Room was small. They are very optimized and work well, but between the luggage and cramped spaces its not very comfortable. Having a nice lobby offset this though.

Great location close to Dontonburi Tiny bathrooms, smelled like smoke

The staff was very friendly, and location was great. Rooms were a bit outdated but the amenities the hotel offered made up for it.

Everything is good. The hotel is accessible from Exit 25 of Osaka-Namba station and near Dotonbori. Several activities are being held everyday on schedule and it's fun to participate on those. Free drinks and ice cream are available to guests every 3PM and free cup noodles by 8:30PM. Buffet breakfast is really good too. There are a variety of meals to choose from and some menu do not repeat everyday, which is really nice. The room is a bit small, bathroom is a bit small too, which, I think is expected in Japanese standards. The massage chair at the lobby is a plus. Staffs are really nice and helpful. Room is clean as well as the bathroom. You have the option to request for room cleaning or not during your stay. Toiletries are available also at the lobby, but there are provided items upon our check in. The staffs even gave my kids a toy after we checked in. The kids are happy, thanks for that. Room is not really soundproof but it did not affect our stay.

Very very small room

Convenient, clean, and comfortable. Facilities like the laundry room and the lobby were easy to access at all hours. It feels like a quiet resting spot just to the side of the busy chaos of Dotonbori.

Perfect staff, excellent location. Very small rooms, extremely small bathroom.
