I enjoyed my stay at Sauna & Capsule AMZA. The hotel location is great. All the basic amenities have been provided. The individual capsule, public shower and locker room are all good. The hotel is surprisingly large! The public bath (pools and sauna) were the best ones I have experienced in my life! Great choice for travelers who want to spare some budget and have a place to stay in the centre of Osaka! None! Everything met my expectations.

Very spacious capsule. Good power points. Right by Namba station. Had to check in and check out on a daily basis.i was booked for 4 nights but only stayed for 3. Not allowed to leave anything in capsule and no chance of lying in as they wanted you out by 10 and not returning till 3. This is more suited to a quick overnight stay.

Sauna Capsule is a bit noisy

-The system that you could buy stuff with key rooms and pay only when you go out is fantastic!! -The Chinese herbal medicine steam room was my highlight, smell amazing and felt so good! -The locker was too small for even for 1 bag so I had to keep both at the reception, but it was on the same floor as the locker so not to much of a hassle -mattress could be a bit thicker

As a foreigner, it was interesting to experience

There is a mention in the hotel information that people with tattoos may have some restrictions. This is a lie. in fact, the person with the tattoos is NOT allowed in. It is obvious that it is impossible to use the common area, such as a swimming pool or a bathhouse. However, the hotel facility will not even accommodate you. It made my trip very difficult.

you have to check out every morning in 10:00 am

They let us check in earlier than expected. Too much nudety in the sauna area. Even though it’s a part of the culture, it’s different from where I am from.

perfect location bed not so clean with a lot of dust

Stay away from this place! We booked via Booking 2 weeks in advance for 2 capsules. No where on the hotel page did it say "no body tattoos allowed" We arrived after a long day at Universal Studios and just wanted to rest. We then say the sign stating no tattoos allowed, we thought it was just for the onsen/spa part of the place. We were unfortunately surprised to find out that it was total entrance to the hotel. We were not allowed to stay at the hotel we booked in advance because of tattoos. If it was stated clearly on the hotel page in booking, I could understand. I realize Japan has cultural differences when it comes to tattoos. However, it wasn't stated, and it really turned the evening sour scrambling for a new place to stay. Luckily, we found Kamon Hotel, which, to be honest, is much nicer, cheaper, and does not discriminate people with tattoos.
