Sunset Inn

Wonderful place to stay, very clean and quite. Managers were very nice.

Room was not as described. The “deluxe king room with fireplace” was characterized as 356 square feet with nice pictures. But, at check in, the room was only about 200 square feet (nothing like the pictures). The staff refused to change the room (claiming that there was no more room), but then asked for $100 more (including tax) for an upgrades. After a long communication, eventually, expedia paid the upgrade fee acknowledging the evidence of the significant discrepancies. However, it costed me much time and effort to deal with such an unusual and unpleasant experience.

Very nice place! The room had a fireplace and jacuzzi! Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Location is excellent. The hotel is older but the bathroom has been updated. But there was a sewage smell emanating from the room. Also, the pillows are old and so flattened. Definitely needs new pillows.

The price of the room was far higher than it should be for the amount of amenities and the type of property.

The staff was wonderful. The parking was easy. The property and rooms were clean and very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room was clean, comfortable and quaint . We liked having a fridge and microwave in our room. The manager was very help friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at the Sunset Inn again

The hotel is amazingly close to the ocean. To the corner and a left hand turn! It is an older hotel that has been lovingly cared for and well maintained. It has most modern conveniences, and our room had a gas fireplace. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

One of my favorite things was the mattress. It was incredibly comfortable and gave me the best sleep I’ve had among all the hotels and Airbnbs I’ve stayed at so far. The staff was nice and friendly, and the overall vibe was very pleasant. Highly recommend!

Lovely staff, comfortable stay. Perhaps some clarity on how to use ceiling fan, fireplace, etc would be nice., but still good. Will definitely stay again. Breakfast hours should start earlier. Those coming from east coast are ready to eat at 6-7am.

Great location, 5 mins walk to the beach and very helpful staff. Modern clean rooms, very clean.

I guess this is more from an environmental perspective but the only small downside is that there are no water bottles in the room or breakfast area so bring your own, even to make coffee in your room.
