Good stay that near beach. Nice fire place outdoor for relax. Clean room. Our family love the stay.

The overall ‘vibe’ of the property is nice. Staff is both helpful and welcoming. The location is ‘prime’. There are deer roaming the neighborhood, so stay alert when driving thru! The only reason(s) we didn’t give the full 5-star rating are NO continental breakfast offered, and the room itself was a bit ‘sterile’. Very simple decor. No plush carpets. Simply put, it is Not ‘cozy’. With this in mind, we still highly recommend this property.

The host was very helpful and friendly. My husband and I loved our stay. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and how the property was within walking distance of the beach.

Functional- nothing fancy. Needs some attention.

Convenient location

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it! The location of this hotel is close to everything. It’s clean, quiet, and comfortable. We will absolutely be coming back for any future trips.

Peaceful gem

Perfect location!

This property was such a gem. Located in a pretty quiet neighborhood (other than the sea birds, but that comes with the territory), it was so nice to have our own four walls and not worry about hearing other travelers. It was incredibly easy to get in and out and the staff was great helping us with a late check in. I only wish we had longer to stay!

It was very clean and newly refurbished. The owner was not very welcoming and pointed to a sign with all the limitations like housekeeping every two days and insisted that I write down the wifi access even though I told him I didn't need it. The furnishings were old, uncomfortable and substandard. The bed was very high and lumpy and pillows were old loose foam. The soap and shampoo were in refilled dispensers. On day two they were running low and hard to get product out. We will not stay here again.

The people are nice, Pacific Grove is a great area, you can park right in front, and you don’t share walls with anyone if you are in a cottage. But, there were ants all over the shower and less so in the rest of the room, there is a barely busy bar in the literal backyard that plays music all day (for no one) and then has extremely loud live music for a small audience, the main road is kind of loud with all the cars going by, no USB ports, and the room was a little beat up. One thing I really wanted but didn’t get was peace. That’s not 100% the hotels fault. Just a mix of the particular circumstances.

Parking was great. Clean up outside needs to improve. Room was very comfortable, needed dark curtains for light at night.

Great value and great location. Much cleaner and nicer than I expected. A delightful surprise.

Our stay was just “meh”. We have been here in the past and the rooms and service have taken a turn for the worse. Our sheets were dirty and stained and when requesting for linens to change to the staff was very cold and offered no apologies. He did offer a prorate for the trouble but when I asked what that entails he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about. Will not stay here again and won’t be recommending it to others.
