Good affordable place in a great location.

Great location and accommodations

When I got to my hotel, a contactless check in was arranged since I got in late. When I got into my hotel room, the room was not cleaned at all, looks like someone checked out that same morning and a cleaning person never came in since there was trash, beds unmade and towels on the floor. Thank goodness the phone number worked and had an active employee answering calls, and he put me in another clean room 15-20 minutes later. I know it was just a mix up but it was late at night and it made me ill at ease afterwards. The general property doesn’t have many amenities or stores/restaurants nearby that are open past 7. And the walls are quite thin so you can hear the conversation of your neighbors and mine were quite loud. Other than that, it was generally clean, but for the price point, I would expect to walk in to at least a clean room.

Great place to stay close to the ocean and close to downtown Pacific Grove. I had an ocean view room.

It was a delight to stay here. Location was tucked away from crowds, walking distance to tidepools. Lovely! Staff was courteous and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. Met several families who stay there regularly. A wonderful discovery!

The deck slider needs some attention. I understand it is an older building, which I really like, however it was difficult to open. We only stayed for one nigh so I really couldn't say much more than that. Staff was courteous and nice.

Pacific Grove is a great little town. Lots of restaurants, a variety of shops and even a movie theater! No complaints

Great hotel! Clean room and friendly staff. No air conditioning but it was cool. Delicious box breakfast.

The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Everything was well maintained, and we had a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Cons: the bed was as hard as a rock . The neighborhood woke up early and was a bit noisy between 6 and 7 am

Front desk staff was very professional and welcoming. The croissant box in the morning had a double chocolate muffin, babybel, and a couple of butter mints. Hot chocolate and juice boxes for the kids and coffee for adults was a nice convenience.

Screen door was broken and there was no air conditioning/heating so it was hot and humid in the room. The bathroom overall could have been cleaner/better scrubbed tub. The staff was very helpful on the phone when arranging a late check in. The parking was also very limited.

I was assigned a room and when I got there wasn't clean, called twice and finally the lady told to come back in an hour Area is very safe, and close to main attractions

The room was clean and well maintained, and the staff was very helpful. The only issue I had was with the water pressure.
