Convenient, welcoming, beautiful new property. No issues

Location was fantastic. Just behind the archaeological park, which was 10 minutes. Simona the host was very kind and helpful It was difficult to get a taxi from the train station to the place. Walking distance is about 900 metres. So, keep that in mind if you are arriving by train.

An exceptional location minutes from the Paestum archaeological park. The room was quite basic. No frills. A collection of inexpensive furniture in the room. Breakfast is not included, but at a B&B it usually is. Paid €10 for an omelette, salad, and coffee.

The room was clean and the location is great – just 5 minutes from Paestum, which made visiting the site very easy. However, we stayed during the off-season, and the village felt quite lifeless at night. Most restaurants were closed or completely empty, which made it a bit hard to find a nice place to eat. We have not tried the breakfast. The interaction with the host felt a bit distant and less personal than what we experienced elsewhere in Italy. This might have been due to language barriers, but it did leave us feeling a bit disconnected.

The apartment location is unbeatable. 5 min pleasant walk to the incredible Paestum archeological site. 15 min walk to the sandy beach. The apartment itself is located in the historical building (built in 1800) and has 3 rooms with 3 separate bathrooms. A patio outside is perfect to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Also, the Barlotti buffalo farm is highly recommended for a visit (breakfast or lunch possible). Only 5-7 min walk and you can taste a mind blowing mozzarella di buffalo and all possible variations of it (nice cheese shop and a small excursion are available too). Don’t miss the ricotta pear cake! Our apartment hosts were very kind and we can highly recommend this place for anyone interested to discover Paestum. N/A

Simona is an excellent hostess! She went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. She makes a wonderful breakfast too. I am so grateful to her! I would definitely come stay again.

Super nice hosts - best breakfast we’ve had! Walking distance to beach and to the Greek Graeccian colony ruin site. Would recommend!.
-
Since it feels like a bed and breakfast it would be nice to have coffee and a simple pastry included.

Beautiful, comfortable property meters from the archeological park. Nothing

Great location. Quiet and peaceful. No complaints.
-
Wonderful location for visiting Paestum and very close to the excavation site. Very welcoming hosts, right down to gifting my grandson the kumquat that he offered to buy from their plant! Gorgeously decorated premises. Only complaint had nothing to do with the owners or house. All the restaurants seem to close after the day tourists leave and we were starving by the time we found the one that was open.

It was just a small room but immaculate and modern. There was, however, a large communal area. But, as we were the only guests, it was quite cold in February The ladies who greeted us could not have been kinder. They even did the ordering for a pizza delivery and gave us 2 numbers for taxis. The visit was too short It was a long hike from the train station, especially with a suitcase There were no restuarants nearby other than 1 closed one. But it was February The scavi was a few feet away but the entrance/exit was not. This was not a huge issue Although a B&B there was no breakfast, again, due to the month. This was problematic as there were no shops either

Casa Franco is the perfect place to stay when visiting the magnificent Paestum temples. It is exceptionally comfortable, clean and beautifully appointed. The hospitality extended to us was far more than could be expected. I am so grateful for everything the hosts did for us particularly with such little notice.
