Great location on the Cotswold Way. Well kept. Restaurant on the premises. Things to see and do nearby. We did have to climb steps to our room.
-
great, very nice nothing
-
Lovely spot very welcoming staff, good stories and we enjoyed breakfast in the conservatory. It was during the heat dome days so the room was very hot and stuffy to sleep. Not their fault but impacted the experience.

Rooms poorly decorated - new, but horribly designed

We had an exceptional stay at the Falcon Inn, marking the end of our 5-day Cotswold Way trek - staff was extremely kind and accommodating. Offered excellent service - did their utmost to accommodate my friend’s allergy (unlike other establishments on our journey), took our bags to our rooms, and offered a great dinner in their restaurant. The room was spacious, beds comfortable and shower excellent. They also have a lovely garden in the back where we could enjoy an early evening cocktail.

We are walking the Cotswold Way and found this little gem along the way, we live in hotels and while most are good this one is a must see. We arrived exhausted and cold, the kitchen was closed, were greeted by Ahmed The Amazing. He saw that my wife was feel poorly and made her a sandwich then brought it to our room. Later at dinner we met Molly The Magnificent she provided the highest level of service and making us feel like family, then there was Dan the mixologist with his amazing knowledge and great personality. The facilities and room were perfect but the staff made it magic.

Location and view of the church and cemetery Rooms are too small. Bed mattress seemed very old. It sloped towards the edges

Arrived early and were able to enjoy refreshments and a late lunch before checking in to a wonderful space. Loved the drying rack!

The staff are very kind and helpful, and the location is unbeatable if walking the Cotswold way.

A pleasant pub with friendly staff

Warm and inviting Inn, and on arrival Dan went far above the call of duty to ensure our delinquent baggage delivery was promptly corrected. We enjoyed great meals there, too.

The location. The window in my room overlooked the church and churchyard. Also, the food was exceptional!

Stayed on April 17, 2026. Wrote the below the next day. No reply at all: I want to let you know our stay at your inn has been most disappointing. Firstly, your advert was for a "king bed". We have a picture of the listing. When we arrived there was no reception desk, just a bar. We finally found a busboy who said he would find someone and went to get the barkeeper. When he checked us in he took our credit card and copied down all of the information from the card, front and back. This is something we have never seen done at any other hotel. We questioned him about it and he told us this is the way things are done, but they would not be charging it. He took us up to the room and quickly left. We soon realized the bed is not a King. It is 4 ft wide and 6 ft long making it a UK Small Double. We have a picture of the bed. That is a violation of the Trade Descriptions. We went down assuming they just made a mixup. We found the same person who checked us in. He was extremely dismissive and said if we wanted a bigger room we had to pay more. We told him we paid for a King bed and we were not getting what we paid for. He replied that nobody had ever complained before and all the rooms had the same sized bed. Which means you are lying about the size of the beds in all of your rooms. Additionally, the room stinks of greasy fried food which caused my sinuses to close up. I barely slept. Other places clearly describe that the rooms are directly above the dining area or kitchen so you know what you are getting. My husband has restless leg syndrome and kicks in his sleep all night long which is why we need the King sized bed. I am disgusted by the false advertising of the incorrect bed size. I had the electric fan on me and the window ajar all night but nothing helped. It hurt my sinuses throughout the night. I am disgusted by the staff talking to me like I am an idiot who don't know the difference between a King sized bed and a Double. Condescending barman/hotel keeper.

Loved this inn!!! Room was beautiful & large with a wonderful view. Staff members Tracy & Soren were really great. Nice outdoor seating area & cute indoor space for a pint or a cocktail. Nothing not to like here

Continental breakfast was inadequate but probably a one-off related to bad weather.

That I couldn't stay longer

Our group of three was walking the Cotswold Way. The hotel was nicely located and had a great onsite restaurant and bar - great selection of appetizers and beverages. Our group really enjoyed the outside facilities, we were there during an unusually warm summer day. The staff was very helpful, and kind. Our rooms were located on the top floor and the staff was kind enough to carry our suitcases up the two flights of stairs for us and place them outside our rooms. We had arrived before check in and the staff was able to accommodate us and let us check in about an hour before the allotted check in time. The beds were quite comfortable and the room had many amenities we enjoyed - the tea/coffee arrangements especially. Overall, we had a quick and pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel as a stop for anyone walking the Cotswold Way. The downside, and not the hotels fault entirely, there was no air conditioning. We were located on the third floor that had very restricted window openings. We were given an extra fan to help with air circulation but it barely made a difference. Included is a photo of the slight window opening.
