About Croft House Guest Suite
Croft House is a charming and intimate Bed & Breakfast, nestled in the picturesque village of Painswick. Each room is equipped with a comfortable bed, TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities and an ensuite/private bathroom. For those booking our ‘Garden Room’, you’ll additionally have exclusive access to our beautiful garden seating area, where you can sit with a glass of wine in the sun or unwind with a good book. Each morning we serve a delightful continental style breakfast, for you to immerse yourself in the aromas of freshly brewed coffee and indulge in a selection of pastries, cereals and seasonal fruits. Although Croft House is for the most part a residential property, we have created a small haven for guests seeking an enjoyable and comfortable retreat. Our guest rooms are located at either side of the property and have independent access for coming and going as you please, with a simple lockbox check-in system for when you arrive. Croft House is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds or to just soak up the natural beauty of Painswick!

We met Elza, serving our wonderful breakfast on the first morning.. A very friendly lady. Martin, the owner, we met the next morning, who we had a nice chat with. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a great shower. Right on the Cotswold Way. Nothing negative.

We stayed in the Garden Room which was a beautiful and extremely comfortable room in the most lovely garden. We really appreciated having a private area of the garden to be able to sit outside. The room was extremely quiet at night - you'd never know you were in the centre of Painswick - and the off street parking was a bonus. Communication, ease of check in and breakfast were all superb. Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful village. Light, bright and well decorated main room. Lovely garden setting. Walking distance to good pubs for meals. Friendly owners. Room could have benefitted from the addition of a small fridge, and iron & ironing board.

The room was spacious with a couch, very comfortable bed and very large bathroom with a bathtub. The continental breakfast was beautifully prepared with fresh fruit, cereals and pastries. The property is walking distance to a number of excellent pubs and shops. I highly recommend this place when staying in Painswick. Nothing

It would be really helpful if more of the windows could open, but they were stuck behind some furniture. Otherwise a perfect place to stay.

The garden was fabulous as well as the location. Marcus was wonderful and so helpful. The only problem was there was a heat spell, which wasn’t their fault, but the windows are difficult to open and it’s a glassed room that did cool down at night with the fan but during the day it was pretty hot. It would be really helpful if more of the windows could open, but they were stuck behind some furniture. Otherwise a perfect place to stay.
