Comfortable bed and nice walk in shower I didn't receive the email with check in instructions i.e. the key code. No one answered any of the numbers or messages until hours after I arrived. Both the 'resent' instructions and the email requesting my feedback disappeared from my inbox. Very strange. The Bistro is separate to the B&B and there's no guarantee loft being able to eat there as it's not big enough to cater for you if all rooms booked. Book ahead here or somewhere else. Also, breakfast needed to be booked in advance so went hungry not knowing this.

Excellent location for Cotswold Way. The breakfast is fantastic. The bed was very small. I wish they’d made it known they had a returning guest rate because we’d stayed there before but I didn’t know about this rate. I thought it was a bit pricey this time, but it is a very cute hotel.

The rooms were well kitted out (ours was extravagantly decorated), the staff were friendly and the shower was great. Very convenient for everwhere in Painswick. Not the cheapest room I've ever stayed in, though

staff and location

Price was high for no service, no hair dryer, uncomfortable beds, confusing check in, and many stairs.

Great location, staff were incredible. Very cute and clean room. Nothing

Delicious homemade breakfast and beautiful room!

The best breakfast on the Cotswold Way! Delightful B&B, comfortable and quiet. Charming, excellent Bistro!

This is an amazing place to stay, especially if you are walking the Cotswold Way! Nothing I did not like.

Perfect location and friendly staff! Alisha was very accommodating and welcoming when we arrived slightly earlier than planned. The room was very unique and comfortable. You can tell that they want their guests to feel comfortable and relaxed. The room was very clean!

The room was clean and quiet. The location is great. Breakfast - amazing - as was the staff!

Lovely people, beautiful themed room, delicious food! Loved it all!

Lovely place in a beautiful location. Room overlooking the church was picture-perfect! Nothing - it was all really lovely.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was good and quiet. The room had low beams and a ceiling, making it awkward to negotiate. There was a stain on the carpet. It was expensive for what it offered.

The room was clean, the shower was hot, and the location is great for walking the Cotswold Way! The restaurant in the same building but not a part of the hotel/B&B was excellent! If you like heavily themed rooms this may be good for you. We found the room clean but stuffed with too many decorations. We had the Retro room which had a hanging plastic ball chair (uncomfortable and mostly unusable for us) and a low sofa that wasn't conducive to sitting and reading or using a computer. There was nowhere to pack and unpack, every flat surface was covered with knick-knacks from the 1970s, and very little space for hanging things up. The room is dark (the bathroom walls are black) and the drapes are heavy and so it was not a comfortable space to read or write for us. There is plenty of space in the so adding a small table and couple of chairs would be helpful. As it was the bar across is light and pleasant and a great place to read. The remote check in and lack of people also seemed odd at this price point.

Location, charming, great breakfast

The food was fantastic both dinner and breakfast were definitely a 10! The room was nice. The bed was too soft and worn. Not much, the bed was not very comfortable. Wish there was a bathtub.

It was beautiful and just so lovely of a stay. Aleshia at breakfast was the sweetest hostess and a delight to get to know. Spectacular fine touches in every corner.
