Wonderful desk staff I was not given the room I booked and paid for…..no couch or anyplace to sit

Comfortable with a very helpful staff. Location is great but noisy at night if your room faces the very lively street.

The location was easy to find, even at night. I had a very exhausting day before I got there and was happy with how clean and comfortable my room was. The receptionist was so friendly and accommodating.

Clean modern safe In room several things not working Shower was plugged light bulbs were burnt out. Could not charge my phone

Breakfast charge of 12€ is a bit higher, though I did not check the buffet , but according to the standard rate, it's on the higher side, even my stay at central London' s ibis breakfast buffet was 13€. The wifi did not work, I am not sure if that's only that particular day.

Loud at night after midnight

Only good thing was reception staff No internet. Shower drain clogged and despite complaining everyday nothing changed. Stay away, not worth it at all.
-
Beds are too small, and uncomfortable. There was no wifi in the room.

Good ac Not maintained drains

Updated rooms and common areas, well kept - no internet for both days we stayed, however, no efforts made by management to do anything compensate - shower slider door missing in our room , replaced with curtain - staff says that is not a problem

The place was immaculate. Beautiful white marble everywhere. A fantastic location close to lots of wonderful restaurants and walking distance (10 to 15 minutes) to the centre of the best part of town. Also, there was a fridge in the room and it kept all our beverages super super beautifully cold!! The only thing that we did not like is that there was no Internet in the rooms, only in the main lobby and although the lobby was very nice, it was also very small. The only thing that we did not like is that there was no Internet in the rooms, only in the main lobby and although the lobby was very nice, it was also very small.

Everything, especially the location No wifi in the room

Great location, friendly staff. The bathrooms were a bit small with limited area to store toiletries, but we made it work.

Do NOT stay in this hotel if you depend on WIFI. We were told it's been out of service for weeks and no attempt was made to restore it during our four days. Likewise, we were not refunded a penny despite the bait-and-switch advertising.

The staff were magnificent. Always friendly and able to help whenever I needed them. The location is great - near a number of restaurants and street food places. A short walk from the main tourist area and near the docks as well. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was a good size. I left my bag with them both upon arrival as I was early and checkout and it was no problem at all. Reception is 24 hours so there's always someone there to help. Cleaning was impeccable. A fridge in the room meant I could keep snacks and drinks cool. I visited at the end of April and the air conditioning is still set in 'winter mode' meaning you could only turn on the heating, not cooling. The average daily temperature was 21 degrees, rising as high as 25 degrees. At night, the adjacent restaurants are quite loud with music playing and guests until the late hours. This is fine with the windows closed as it blocks out a lot of the sound, but it meant I was very hot at night because the air con doesn't cool and I couldn't open the windows. It's very annoying that this hotel advertises that they have air con, when in reality they only have it for a few months of the year. I wouldn't have booked if I'd have known this, as I'm from a much colder climate and am used to being cooler in the evening. I didn't sleep much at this hotel because of this. Please update the description of the hotel to display when you have air con available, not heating. Others mention the bars adjacent are loud, and they are. I am surprised residents haven't complained. I would also suggest the hotel speak to them to agree a lower music volume. Otherwise, make sure you have access to white noise in order to block the sound out.

Great staff and even better location. The hotel is located in the vibrant downtown, all the bars and restaurants within walking distance. Marina is just at the end of the street. The shower hose had some leaks in it which made it difficult to take a shower. This was announced at the reception during the check out procedure.

Staff were very responsive & welcoming. The location is superb, close to the marina & in the historic centre. The junior suite I was in had lovely city views from its 3 balconies - the photos provided did not do it justice! Overall, I had a lovely experience and would visit again. Given the location, it was quite noisy at night over the weekend, but this likely goes with the territory, in the heart of the historic centre. This didn't bother me much as I'm a deep sleeper, but light sleepers looking to book, be warned. The bedspread had light staining and should be thoroughly cleaned or ideally changed. Otherwise, the room and en suite were spotless. The en suite requires an upgrade of the shower, as the chrome was corroded and the shower cubicle itself is a little on the tight side. That said, the WC and basin had already been upgraded and appeared fairly new. The balconies require maintenance to the shutter restraints, as some of the shutters could not be fixed open and kept closing in wind gusts.
