Could get a bit noisy at night as rooms face the main street, but not too bad

It was spotless, charming and very stylish. We didn’t use the kitchen as the location was so central. The bed was also very comfortable! The host was very responsive and helpful.

The location is absolutely fantastic. It is right in the very center of the old town with easy access to all sightseeing and also trains & buses. It may be noise in the night, but the apartment has sound-proof windows which were enough. The rooms are very spacious and light. Apartment is clean and access is very easy. Stuff was very helpful and easy to contact (via Whatsapp). It would be nice to have more glasses and cutlery available.

Really good location in the heart of the historic old town. 2 minute walk to one of the main crossroads. Flat was quiet and peaceful overnight. Air con was slightly noisy, but effective. Perhaps some guidebooks or suggestions for restaurants/attractions would have been good.

Incredible location. Very nice place and very spacious. There were heaps of moths in the kitchen, unsure where they were coming from. Would’ve been nice to have an ashtray outside.

An all-around stylish, spacious, and cozy apartment with an excellent location in the old town. All the attractions, great cafes, restaurants, and the opera house are conveniently nearby. A very friendly and accommodating host, and the apartment has everything you need thoughtfully provided.

In the middle of the tourist area of Palermo, beautifully decorated and cool. The host was very help

Perfect location for city trip, close to main attractions and restaurants however on calmer part of the street so not to be disturbed at night. It is clean and generally spacious for 2 people, owner is responsive The bathroom is really small for an average adult, it is manageable but not comfortable and for us the outflow was clogged so the cleaning service should be checking that between stays. We also didn’t like the training machine in the bedroom but maybe some make use of it

Great host excellent location, close to all landmarks and attractions, near to Central train station which gives you a big bonus to commute around the places. So much rubbish on the adjacent streets which made hard to open the windows for flies and insects to come in also bad smell. Understandably this is not in hosts issue but local council can put some efforts to keep the city clean.

Beautiful and artsy apartment, very well located on Via Maqueda. Main restaurant hub in Palermo a few minutes stroll from apartment, and many smaller street food places down on the street. Piazza Bellini and the UNESCO-classed churches a few minutes away, as well as Quattro Canti. We choose the apartment both because of the location, but mainly because of the beautiful 17th century frescoes combined with cool and glamourous vintage decorations. The bedroom is fabulous, as so was waking up looking up at an 400 year old Italian fresco. We also liked that the sofa bed was a real and comfortable sofa bed, not just a sofa. The balcony doors are new and double-glazed, so in combination with the inner old balcony doors, the noise from the street is not really disturbing. The kitchen is not really fit for cooking serious meals, but no real need either, because of the vast array of restaurants, bars etc close at hand. Useful to have Netflix, for evenings with tired children. Beautiful and practical bathroom. Bar and community cinema club in the courtyard. The "three-person" apartment meant that the third person sleeps in the combined kitchen/living room, so it's a bit crowded in that room. The other two persons in our five persons family rented the "two-persons apartment", which had both a living room and a large kitchen, besides the bedroom, and we didn't understand why the 3 persons apartment was so much smaller than the 2 persons apartment. The wifi only worked in the bedroom, not in the living room/kitchen. The clothes storage is actually a bit too vintage, reminding more of an attic storage than a wardrobe. The kitchen was small and felt a bit sterile, and it felt a bit sloppy that the dishwasher liquid was both used in the kitchen and in the bathroom dispenser. But these are details that does not really deter from the fact that it is a very nice apartment.

Spacious and nicely decorated one-bedroom apartment. Located on Via Maqueda (a lively and noisy street in old town Kalsa). However, the windows are new and soundproof. Your sleep will not be disturbed. The host Giuseppe in very serviceminded and professional. The old town is on your doorstep. Every facility and attraction in just a few minutes away by feet. Three tips. If you don`t feel like fixing breakfast. Go to "I Cucci Bakery" on Via Vittorio Emanuele, 360/362. If you like good food and don´t want to end up in a touristtrap. Go to "Locanda del Gusto" on Via Vittorio Emanuele, 316. The restaurant in located in a quiet qourtyard away from the street. It is not more expensive, only much, much better than possibly any other restaurant in the neighbourhood. Finally, take bus nr 806 to Mondello for a day on the beach. By your sandwich at "Prezzemolo Vitale" on Via Torre de Mondello. Nothing.

It was close to the bus/train station. It was just not as expected and part of the problem I think was that I got the last booking and the Glam unit was subpar. When you book the last unit on this site you do not see the unit you are booking, which led in part to my disappointment. The bathroom was dated and the shower filled quickly with standing water so one had to clean up quickly. The kitchen was very minimal with a grim couch on one wall. The house is wired with lines that climb the walls and, high above the bed, a line just juts out. I don’t know how this property has high rating because it isn’t a quality rental, although perhaps other apartments are nicer so this may account for the difference.

First of all, I am very thankful to the host that were were accommodated immediately after we arrived at 2 am without any additional charge for it. The apartment was awesome: super clean, spacious and light with all required kitchen appliances and kitchen sets. The It is in old building however fully renovated. The location is also great: all sightseeings, market, streets full of cafes are just around the corner and in walking distance. I really enjoyed having morning coffee in the balcony. The internet sometimes did not work well, but we bought the Italian sim card and used mobile internet.
