MAD Bed & Breakfast

Not a complaint, but something to take note if it matters to you: Desk very small and rounded corners, could accommodate only a laptop, no room for second screen or area to rest your wrists while typing. Not a problem if you are in Palermo simply for leisure but if you are working remotely, a bit uncomfortable.

Location was excellent! Walking to all major city sites and lots of shopping. Our host Santino and Antonella were very helpful and kind! Highly recommend! Using the key to open the door was a little tricky.

Great location 5 minutes away from Quattro Canti. Our hosts Antonella and Santino were very friendly and helpful. Antonella gave us great recommendations about what to see in the city, where to eat, and tips about getting to and from the city. There was no hot water in the first few hours, but Santino fixed it quickly after we messaged him. The boiler needed to be restarted, then it was fine for the rest of the trip.

Very clean and cosy B&B. Nicely decorated and very friendly and helpfull owner. The location is also super! The beds are a bit hard for our Experience.

Our host was exceptional. Upon arrival, he spent some time with us and gave us some great insider knowledge on areas to go to and avoid, this gs to do and eat - much more authentic than what we could find online! The room itself was perfect, and the b&b was in a great location, spotless and had all the amenities we needed. 10/10 recommend staying here.

Antonella gave us a whole map and guide to the best attractions in the city right when we arrived. Our space was not only comfy, but it was immensely cute. The art in the space is so cool! We were also given access to an espresso machine and a milk frother so we could make cappuccinos, as well as snacks! Everything was great! We have 0 complaints. Thanks!

Great location

The bedroom and bathroom was very nice but the decor was quirky. The property is in the heart of the town and is an easy walk to many places. The property appears to offer more than it does, when we asked if we could have some plates etc we were refused because the authorities only allow bed and breakfast, There was no indication that we were free to use the kitchen at any time other than breakfast. Breakfast was pre set with plastic wrapped food, I brought my own muesli and milk. The other guests did not rinse their plates so we were faced with dirty dishes in the kitchen. The owner did not want to assist us with local parking and only wanted us to use the public car park which was a significant distance away, we got info from the veg shop owner downstairs and parked locally. The keys to the building and room were an effort to use.

First of all owner who gives us all informations about ours visiting Palermo, what to see, where to eat and etc. The apartment is located in walking aria and you do not need a public transport. Everything was really nice. ?

They were both very kind, welcoming and helpful.

We were in the heart of the city, shopping, restaurant, markets, attractions. Liked thar we could watch YouTube movies in English. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Parking was a 20 min walk away and was 24 Euros per day. However if you're not driving then this location is perfect.

The location was perfect, we could easily walk to all the main sights.Our host was very helpful with suggestions about sightseeing, and gave us a map. There were plenty of choices for breakfast, and we served ourselves.

Really loved the apartment, it’s in a great location and the style of decoration made it truly unique, a lovely place to stay. Santino recommended many interesting places to visit and to go for food. Breakfast and fresh coffee available until late morning was also a great touch. The only thing that would have improved things for me, would have been a slightly more comfortable bed, it was very hard. I appreciate this is a very personal thing though, would not stop me coming back another time! :)

It’s on a quiet street at night, yet only minutes from super eating places, and easy to find as it’s beside one of the famous churches. It’s right beside the market Ballaro but not in it. Santino recommended 2 places to eat which were amazing, cheap and top quality, perfect Sicilian experiences. Everything was brilliant.

The hosts are superb, it was like staying at a friend's place. They are very kind and warm, and they offered a lot of info about Palermo and made the effort to answer any special questions. Should I return to Palermo, I will definitely choose MAD B&B again!
